Diary of a Corper 15

18th May-14th Day on Camp

Noise of the search for 14,000 brought me back from my sleep. My room was in chaos and the leaders of the room had locked down the room. It is the last week of the camp and according to the camp officials, this is the week that many things will be stolen. One of my white T-shirts got missing yesterday while i was drying it outside. Stealing is an act of the devil, it shows the existence of the kingdom of darkness.

We can put an end to the works of darkness by decreeing Light just like God did.

Genesis  1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.  1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.  1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Since there is no escape route from parade again(...my escape route used to be cultural dance and we have lost out), the soldiers forced everyone that isn't in the marching squad to dance to songs we don't understand. We danced and danced and danced. It was fun but very embarrasing. It was similar to what Jesus did to devil.

Colossians  2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

One of the day's lecture was on gender equality; a topic that generates much disagreement. Well, i choose to reserve my comment on that.

I now carry my waist bag all around, even to the toilet.

NCCF was great today as we had mission awareness from several mission agencies; it served as burden builder.

Dinner was not good again so i slept hungry again.

Prophetic Perspective: Israel vs Iran

The middle east situation between Israel and Palestine is a very complex one that can be viewed from many sides. Whichever perspective you choose, there will always be an unresolved issue. It is exactly a year that Hamas, a terrorist group in Palestine, dealt the biggest blow ever to the Israeli state, killing over 1000 Jews and abducting about 251. It sent a shock wave round the world. The October 7, 2023 attacks kick-started a war that has escalated to involve Lebanon, Syria, Qatar and Iran. Israel has gone all out attacking Palestine in a wave that many world leaders have been cautioning them to consider the civilians. ORIGIN OF THE WAR The origin of the war in the middle east can be traced back to the 1920s when Britain, in conjunction with the Arabs defeated the Ottoman military in Jerusalem and took the city as a colony of the British royalty.  It wasn't long before the British decided to release the land to the Arabs that fought alongside them. But, there was another set of ...

Can You See Islam Imploding?

Islam has taken a major stage in the world today, with many western nations trying to find their feet in the face of millions of immigrants from Islamic nations. Several European countries are losing their own culture as the Islamic wave is taking over their lands already. While in Africa, nations are embroiled in Islam related conflicts that is claiming lives in millions. In many places, Muslims have become citizens and are beginning to contest for political offices. The current mayor of London is a Muslim. Same with the current mayor of New York. Scotland already had a Muslim PM. You see, there is no issue with a Muslim becoming a political leader other than the fact that true Muslims are territorial; their religion teaches them that the religion of the ruler is the religion of the land. Is this Islamophobia? Wait. What is Islamophobia? Why should anyone be Islamophobic? Is it because terrorists are Muslims? Or because Muslims threaten to slaughter anyone who slanders their religion?...

Seven Years In Christ- Friends

After an official meeting with executives of tacsfonOAU When I resumed for the second year in college, I saw a result of the previous year and it was 39%. I couldn't believe what I saw because it was definitely not commensurate with my efforts. I wept quite bitterly and promised God that He wouldn't see me around any of His assignments again. I just joined a subgroup in my fellowship and I expected that my results will be better because of the several testimonies that I have heard from people. As I was weeping, God directed three friends to visit the spot where I was weeping. It was a miracle that I wouldn't forget. They consoled me and encouraged me to take a step of checking the result with the coordinator of the course. Eventually, my result was changed to 62%. This is one of the many times that the Lord has used brothers and sisters around me to stabilize me and keep me in line with His purpose. The role they have played in my last 7 years cannot be written in ...
