Diary of a Corper 10

13th May-9th Day on Camp

I slept after hearing the news that my house at home was burgled and my laptop was stolen. My heart was really heavy but thank God for the father of all mercies and God of all comfort.

During the day, we heard news that curfew has been declared in 10 local governments in Plateau state due to unrest, but i believe God for protection.

There was no morning parade today because it was the turn of my platoon to do sanitation. We went about cleaning the surroundings of the camp.

I remember the sanctification process that every christian must engage in. As we picked the dirts, the camp became cleaner.

John  17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Evening parade was fine. I spend most of my free time on parade praying in tongues and meditating.

The vision of NCCF was explained better to us today. My heart was strenghtened(...i have not missed a day's fellowship). I was interviewed again today.

Couldn't eat dinner today because my stomach have been rumbling. Registration keep increasing everyday. Queues just spring up everytime and you have to keep asking what the queues are meant for(...i go about with my passports to ease this).

Psalms  27:1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Can You See Islam Imploding?

Islam has taken a major stage in the world today, with many western nations trying to find their feet in the face of millions of immigrants from Islamic nations. Several European countries are losing their own culture as the Islamic wave is taking over their lands already. While in Africa, nations are embroiled in Islam related conflicts that is claiming lives in millions. In many places, Muslims have become citizens and are beginning to contest for political offices. The current mayor of London is a Muslim. Same with the current mayor of New York. Scotland already had a Muslim PM. You see, there is no issue with a Muslim becoming a political leader other than the fact that true Muslims are territorial; their religion teaches them that the religion of the ruler is the religion of the land. Is this Islamophobia? Wait. What is Islamophobia? Why should anyone be Islamophobic? Is it because terrorists are Muslims? Or because Muslims threaten to slaughter anyone who slanders their religion?...

Prophetic Perspective: Israel vs Iran

The middle east situation between Israel and Palestine is a very complex one that can be viewed from many sides. Whichever perspective you choose, there will always be an unresolved issue. It is exactly a year that Hamas, a terrorist group in Palestine, dealt the biggest blow ever to the Israeli state, killing over 1000 Jews and abducting about 251. It sent a shock wave round the world. The October 7, 2023 attacks kick-started a war that has escalated to involve Lebanon, Syria, Qatar and Iran. Israel has gone all out attacking Palestine in a wave that many world leaders have been cautioning them to consider the civilians. ORIGIN OF THE WAR The origin of the war in the middle east can be traced back to the 1920s when Britain, in conjunction with the Arabs defeated the Ottoman military in Jerusalem and took the city as a colony of the British royalty.  It wasn't long before the British decided to release the land to the Arabs that fought alongside them. But, there was another set of ...

Seven Years In Christ- Friends

After an official meeting with executives of tacsfonOAU When I resumed for the second year in college, I saw a result of the previous year and it was 39%. I couldn't believe what I saw because it was definitely not commensurate with my efforts. I wept quite bitterly and promised God that He wouldn't see me around any of His assignments again. I just joined a subgroup in my fellowship and I expected that my results will be better because of the several testimonies that I have heard from people. As I was weeping, God directed three friends to visit the spot where I was weeping. It was a miracle that I wouldn't forget. They consoled me and encouraged me to take a step of checking the result with the coordinator of the course. Eventually, my result was changed to 62%. This is one of the many times that the Lord has used brothers and sisters around me to stabilize me and keep me in line with His purpose. The role they have played in my last 7 years cannot be written in ...
