Gospel Faith Mission Intl is celebrating her 70th anniversary in their current convention and Baba Abina, the current overseer shared a story about how the church started that touched my heart. The founder of the church, Baba George was living in Ebute Metta area of Lagos and because people were living with him, he rented a big house while he was attending C.A.C. After a while, he couldn't afford the rent of the house again, so he decided to move to another area that has lower rent. That was why he moved to Iwaya, Lagos where the church began. Baba Abina said as natural as that move was, it was what led to the birth of GOFAMINT! Today, millions are drinking from the river that came out of Iwaya! This reminds of how the two wives of Jacob brought up several schemes to have Jacob to themself.
