Discussion Between Bob Jones and Sadhu Sundar Singh (Part 1)

I was taking a study on the life and calling of Bob Jones when I came across a video on YouTube. A pastor was sharing about a vision Bob Jones had and I was prompted by the LORD to write about it. In that vision, Sadhu Sundar Singh (a Indian missionary who transited into glory without seeing death in the 1920s) appeared to Bob Jones and told him to send out a warning to the body of Christ. His exact words were: "The church must repent of selfish ambition For ambition causes competition And competition brings suspicion And suspicion brings division" I had to pause the video and write the words in my journal.   Last night, the LORD interrupted my sleep and brought back this word to me saying "NO PRESSURE". As the LORD would help me, I'll do a post on each of the 3 sentences that the Sadhu Sundar Singh shared with Bob Jones. The essence of this writings is not to condemn anyone, but to ensure that the body of Christ stays on the right course, washed and adorned fo

Joseph Ayodele Babalola: Misconceptions and Outrageous Conclusions (Part 1)

On this day in 1959, around 4:30pm, a young man called Michael Isajimi was given a responsibility to stand at the door of a room where Babalola was resting. Suddenly, everywhere began to vibrate as in the case of a tremor. Suddenly, he heard three heavy breathing from the room. He was scared and he let out a cry which attracted Babalola's entourage to the room. The likes of Prophets Babajide and Medaiyese prayed till 7pm before the LORD showed them that their father in the LORD has been received into heaven and he would not be coming back.   Babalola is not an unpopular name in the history of African Pentecostalism. Several stories fly around about his personal life and outstanding ministry. However, there are also accounts concerning his life and ministry that are misconceptions and some are outright attempt to discredit his work. Having spent a number of years studying him and the revival birthed through him, I have seen a gap between what we were told, what flies around and wh

Nigeria At This Time

After the #EndSARS protests that rocked many parts of the nation, Prophet Fanny organized a meeting where prophets around the country made known their hearts on what they believe God is doing in Nigeria at that time. One of the words that stuck with me was that Nigeria is at war with a strong man. A strong man is a spirit that enforces a certain experience in the territory, a family or an individual. Forward to July 2021, I took some lessons about a strong man and how to deal with it and I found out that a strong man can take the will of a leader in the territory or family and ensure that the person acts according to his dictates. Many of us have seen this manifest in families where someone needs to be eliminated sort of, before some good things can happen. This is because the person has allowed his/her will to be completely usurped by the strong man. Tying this to Nigeria, I have watched Buhari metamorphose in the last 4 years. He seems to get deeper and deeper into something th

Miss Maggi (Part 10)

I told Miss Maggi how I have been concerned about her for quite a while and that is why I have made sure I go the extra mile to ensure that she does not sack me. I told her how I have been praying for her every night, hoping that God would reach out to her and give her joy. I explained that I have been frowning my face because I have not been seeing results of my prayers for her. She exhaled and leaned forward. “Coke, I am going to serve you a query. Get out.” Back at my post, I nearly lost it. What is wrong with this woman? Her pride would not allow her get any help. She promised Anonymous that she would help me, but she wants to query me. After an hour, I checked notification on the social media and found out that she has messaged Anonymous. Wow. I quickly checked. “Can you believe that Coke tricked me? Nothing is wrong with him.” I can’t reply her here. She can catch me. If Miss Maggi is this furious about this, what would she do when she finds out that I am Anonymous? I was t

Miss Maggi (Part 9)

I am now in a dangerous spot. I have tricked Miss Maggi into believing that there is someone who wants to help her to get Coke back on track. If she finds out that I am the one that is playing on her intelligence, it could cost me my job. I have to be very careful how I handle this matter. That night, I was troubled. When I told the Holy Spirit, He simply told me to be at rest. The following day, I decided to let go of my frowning face, but I really want to see what Miss Maggi has in plan for me. She has never shown any form of care for anyone. I am interested in this. That morning, she walked in in her usual style and when she was settled, I expected her to call me. I waited for what was like a whole year, but Miss Maggi did not call me. I was tempted to go into her office to ask if she needs anything, hoping that she would summon courage to talk to me, but I decided against it as I am supposed to still be angry. The time eventually showed up when I heard my name. I waited for h

Miss Maggi (Part 8)

Miss Maggi replied me immediately. Miss Maggi: I have been waiting for you. It is obvious that Coke needs help. What can I do to bring him back to normal? I need him. Anonymous: Maybe he is fed up of your behavior. Miss Maggi: What can I do? Anonymous: Is he a Christian? Miss Maggi: Yes. He once talked about the Holy Spirit Anonymous: Ask him if he has prayed about it. Miss Maggi: I can’t ask him that. Anonymous: Why? Miss Maggi: I just can’t ask him that question Anonymous: For him to be unhappy for two days, the issue must be around something he loves. Maybe family. Miss Maggi: Hmmm. You could be right. He seems like someone who likes God a lot too. Anonymous: Maybe he committed a sin. Miss Maggi: That’s none of my business. Anonymous: I think it is. Miss Maggi: How? Anonymous: You said it yourself. You need him. You need to do whatever you need to get him back [Miss Maggi is silent] Anonymous: Just try. You will be glad you did Miss Maggi: Oka

Miss Maggi (Part 7)

I continued my hide and seek with Miss Maggi. I know from her blog posts that she cares about me, but she is scared of love. I know people like that. They are scared of people showing them love because of their past experience or their knowledge of the testimonies of these dark days. That’s why I discourage believers from listening to these radio programs of bad stories of things going on in the world; it fuels fear and cripples faith. Miss Maggi’s situation is as a result of her past. As bloody as it was, I know that she can come out of it. I have intensified my prayers for her. That day at work, I stayed away from every unnecessary contact with her, but I noticed that she was struggling with some things. She doesn’t know whether to ask me what is wrong with me again or just let me be. I caught her about three times looking at me. When I was sure that she was worried about me, I went to her and asked if she needed anything. She looked at me and asked what has given me so much co

Miss Maggi (Part 6)

I balanced behind my laptop as I typed the address of her blog into my browser. This would be the first time I would see her on any social media platform. The first thing that caught my attention on the blog was her profile. She was dressed in a white gown and was smiling from ear to ear. Miss Maggi is smiling? Jesus is LORD! Her profile read ‘I stay alone, but I don’t live alone. Grief is my roommate and sadness is my neighbor.’ I knew it that something is wrong with my boss. I just have not discovered what is exactly wrong with her. I will know about it today. I spent over an hour reading different articles on her blog. Apart from the fact that she is a good writer, Miss Maggi writes about everything on her blog. Her work, colleagues, family and of course, Coke. I find it weird that Miss Maggi writes about everything and everyone, but she never talks to us at work. I was curious to know why she hates color red. I searched through and found the gold mine in her earliest articles.

Why I Believe In One Nigeria

There have been several calls in recent times for the breaking of Nigeria into three major tribes that form the nation. This call has suddenly increased in this administration as a result of the nepotistic character of the Federal government. The calls all come from genuine concerns seeing that the North seem to pose more demerits to the south than merits. While I share all these concerns, my stand is quite different. I have been studying prophecies about Nigeria for about 5 years now. I have examined the contents of prophecies from S.G. Elton, Benson Idahosa, Ruth Elton, Cindy Jacobs, Paul Gindiri, Intercessors for Nigeria, FGBMFI, the Fulani prophecy and different prayer conferences from 1984 till date. I have also studied the role of men like Usman Dan Fodio, George Goldie and Oduduwa in the formation of the country and in all of this, every prophecy and prophetic intelligence point to that there will be challenges, but the nation will overcome. The only prophecy that seems to s

Miss Maggi (Part 5)

Miss Maggi is one of the most intelligent person I have ever met. She does her work a special touch of excellence that stands her out among the other executives. Her strategies have always hooked clients so much that it leads to referrals for the advertising company. While I was planning to upset her again by wearing red, I worked the extra mile to gain her trust on the job.   At first, she just wanted me to remain as her assistant and not intrude into matters that do not concern me, but I grew so fast into becoming her secretary and she was pleased with my growth which came at a very high price of reading all her past presentations and studying her strategies. Now, she gives me ideas and I flesh it up into a presentation. This has made her work very easy. There are times that we work together quite easily and at other times, she would throw curses at me and threaten to get me out. Her mood swings are very dangerous so much that I added it to my prayer points for her. I remember on

Miss Maggi (Part 4)

I knew Miss Maggi was mad at me because of my tie, but I decided to smile and reduce the rising heat of the atmosphere. Smiling, I asked 'Is there anything I can do for you right now?' 'Take away that tie', she requested in a surprisingly cool manner. 'Oh, the tie, is it bad?, I asked. She shouted back at me: 'It is red'. Still pretending as if I don't know what is going on, 'but red is fine; it matches my white shirt.' She supported her chin with a her right fist and gave me a stern gaze. Within me, I should be urinating in my pants, but I managed to stay calm and continued the conversation. 'Excuse me ma, can I ask you a question?' She was mute. I took that as a yes. Lanre, this confidence will get you into trouble, I thought, but I still asked her. 'Why don't you like red? Red is a cool innocent color. Instead of answering my question, Miss Maggi combined the roar of a lion and the trump of an elephant as she shouted at me to r

Miss Maggi (Part 3)

As I approached home that evening, I started asking the Holy Ghost to share with me about Miss Maggi. The scripture that came up in my mind was that of the Samaritan man who helped the man that was robbed. I knew what He was passing across to me. The LORD wants me to help her. I was puzzled. Maggi does not need help! I am the one that needs help. I quickly counted about three ways I could use the Holy Ghost's help in working with her. You know that few minutes of foolishness where we try to convince the Holy Ghost that we are wiser. While I was in deep thought concerning this matter, my mum entered my room. My mum is a typical Nigerian Christian mother who does not joke with prayers for her family; especially her children. I have been blessed many times by her prophetic unction that flows from her many hours of intercession. Her drive to seek God herself greatly rubbed on me. She has always told me to stop talking to myself. She considers it a taboo, but it's my own way of medi

Miss Maggi (Part 2)

It didn't take me long before I found out who Maggi is from other staffs of the organization. Apparently, she feels like a 'Maraget Thatcher', but she is an 'Adolf Hitler'. She gives orders that must not be challenged by even her superiors. She is a terrible leader. No. She is not a leader. She is a boss in every sense of the word boss. Her 6 feet 4 inches does not help the situation in any way. Her words are like thunders. She does not get along with anyone in the firm. She is a loner 'who has a knack for sacking her assistants in the first month', one of the staffs told me. The longest serving assistant she ever had spent 2 months before she threatened to beat the lady up. I wondered why she has not been sacked. My inquiries told me that she gets her work done perfectly and very good at clinching clients. So, as long as she is bringing money in, the boss does not care if she spits on every other person. Too bad.  How will I cope with this kind of person? T

Miss Maggi (Part 1)

I set a series of alarms to make sure that I did not over sleep. My cloth was dry cleaned by my trusted vendor. I had done my background checks on the organization. As at 6 am, I was set to leave home for my first interview after NYSC. I took my Pauline prayers which is a normal dose for my devotion and as I was getting out, my mum called out my name. She walked towards me with a bottle of anointing oil. I knew she would do that anyways. She anointed me three times and made those fiery proclamations. When she was going to turn it to a revival service, I had to cut her short. Despite the fact that I was sitting in front of a panel that looks so deadly, I help my chin up and banked on the peace within me. They asked me so many questions that I considered personal. I mean, why would a potential employer be asking me if I like Coca cola or Pepsi. How does that even matter to my application for the role of a personal assistant to one of the company's executives. Out of the 6 persons int

After Donald Trump, Who is Next? (Part 3)

The third and final part of this series is here. The goal of this series is to show you that the world is more than what you see and hear in the news. This world is firstly spiritual which means that if anything will show up in the physical, it must have a precedence in the Spirit. It is very astonishing that this world is moving in the exact direction that the bible say it will go, but it is quite unfortunate that many Christians cannot decode what is happening. From Revelations 13, it is clear that there will be a government that will unite the whole world and that government will be led by a beast-Antichrist. This one world government has been pictured as a lie that is only believed by religious people. Any attempt to show the direction of this world in line with the one world government, it is mocked and laughed at; even by Christians. If you check Google, it will be labelled as a conspiracy theory which means a covert operation by some powerful people behind some events. The d

After Donald Trump, Who is Next? (Part 2)

If you paid attention to the first part of this article, you will notice that I addressed it to Christians because I consider it important for you to understand what is going on in USA presently. I could have sat back and just face my business, but I always say that anyone who loves God would be concerned about America. America is a nation with a rich history in God. The founding fathers based the country on the principles of the bible. In fact, many parts of the constitution were lifted from the bible. They made sure that they dedicated every sector of the nation to God so much that they regarded the country as God's own country. Ever since inception, the nation has been destined for greatness. The moves of God that have been birthed in that country has traveled round the world and has played a major role in the current stature of the body of Christ. However, about 50 years ago, the nation began to tread a path different from that of their founding fathers. The nation began to e

After Donald Trump, Who is Next? (Part 1)

The last few days have been quite torrid for me. Apart from malaria symptoms in my body and a bloated mouth, I have been abused and called all sorts of names as a result of the actions and inactions of US President, Donald Trump following the Capitol Riots. I followed closely like you would expect and I saw all that happened. Some of my friends have threatened me in several ways; one even called me a Terrorist, saying that my mindset is not different from that of Mutallab. To be frank, I expected more action from Trump concerning the riots. He seemed to allow the disruption so that the certification will not hold. The roller coaster that has followed the November elections have left many in shock, but my rants here is not even about the election. It is about Christians who have come for the head of prophets and those who follow prophecies on a national and global level. For me, I have no issue with unbelievers who trample on sacred things, but when believers do the same, I wonder! The
