After Donald Trump, Who is Next? (Part 1)

The last few days have been quite torrid for me. Apart from malaria symptoms in my body and a bloated mouth, I have been abused and called all sorts of names as a result of the actions and inactions of US President, Donald Trump following the Capitol Riots. I followed closely like you would expect and I saw all that happened. Some of my friends have threatened me in several ways; one even called me a Terrorist, saying that my mindset is not different from that of Mutallab. To be frank, I expected more action from Trump concerning the riots. He seemed to allow the disruption so that the certification will not hold. The roller coaster that has followed the November elections have left many in shock, but my rants here is not even about the election. It is about Christians who have come for the head of prophets and those who follow prophecies on a national and global level. For me, I have no issue with unbelievers who trample on sacred things, but when believers do the same, I wonder! The ...

SPEAK OUT!

My pastor called me this evening and asked me why he has not been seeing my writings. I explained to him that I have been on a heavy routine in recent weeks, exams et al. He raised an issue that has gathered dust in recent times. I understood what he was talking about. I have always been vocal about issues that affect the church and he knows that I, by Grace and Mercy, wield a measure of influence on the media and it should not be kept back. The silence of the church has led many in the valley of decisions to make the wrong decision. Bible says that in the multitude of counsel, there is safety. This thought brings to mind the Thyatiran church. The error of that church was not as a result of what they did. It wasn't because they believed something wrong. It was because they kept quiet about what wa...

In Times Like This: The Witness of William Wilberforce

Yesterday, I prayed into the night with some of my friends and around 12 am, I was led to continue reading a book by Cindy Trimm-The Prayer Warrior's Way. The book expounds the role of prayers in living a supernatural life daily. She used stories to pass across her message and one of the stories she used is the story of a British Politician- William Wilberforce. In the morning, I retired to my bed and decided to listen to a message. I eventually decided to listen to a message preached in 2017 by Pastor Olubi Johnson- Africa Will Surely Rise. The message was a prophetic expository of the school anthem of the first secondary school in Nigeria- C.M.S Grammar School, Bariga. The school was founded by missionaries. He said he doesn't know all of them except a man called William Wilberforce! Again? This same name? What stunned me more was that the missionaries established the school on June 6th! It happened on this very day. Wow! I knew I have to pay attention to William Wilb...
