Esther was said to be a teenager at the time that king Ahasuarus called for the beauty peagent to select another queen. This young girl has been raised by her cousin who could fit into her uncle becuase of the age difference. Esther had been taught te ways of the people of Israel and was very obedient to her guardian- Mordecai.
Eventually when Esther became the quuen, her fame went far and wide. The king called for a feast and even declared a public holiday to honour the new queen. Everyone knew her, but they didn't know who about Mordecai. Yet, Mordecai was comfortable to sat behind the scene and just ensure that Esther did well in the courts of the king.
Today, the average young man or woman is believing God that one day (s)he will also 'rise'. The definition of that rise is actually fame and influence. The Mordecai company are the people that will thoroughly raise people for Jesus that can stand in the courts of kings and not compromise. The Mordecai company are comfortable with being obscure, they are not going to consider their breakthrough in life to be fame.
These men and women behind the scenes are highly needed today because we have seen several Esthers in palaces that did not represent the God of Israel. Esthers that were defeated by Haman, Esthers that joined Haman to kill the Jews. There is a great need for Mordecais.
Some men who were supposed to be a Mordecai have left the King's gate and entered into the courts of the king. They are not comfortable with staying behind the scene because they have been told that the definition of a successful ministry is fame. So, they left their place.
This is a call to return to your place and stay there to raise Esthers. Mordecai took Esther through a thorough discipleship process suc that when she got to the palace and saw the plot against the Jews, she knew the right weapon to use to fight. She didn't love her own life even until death.
We need several 'Mordecai School of Discipleship' that can raise Esthers that will challenge the reign of Haman in the palaces. This is not a gender role. A man or woman can be a Mordecai and a man or woman can also be an Esther.
