We are in a prophetic season where we are seeing the many aspects of the prophetic dimension of God being displayed in men. The primary aim of the prophetic is to be able to know the mind of God. God wills to share His thoughts with us and when we make ourselves available, we can pick the mind of God. I am very fascinated to the many ways. So, the pattern of prophetic training in many quarters is based on how to hear God. Hearing God is a major course in the lives of believers and God speaks to us in many ways. Basically, we hear God through the written word however, God can also make His mind known to us through the spoken word. A very interesting story was narrated to me by a young man about a day his master received a visitor. They lived in a remote area where the major occupation was rearing of livestock. He master was relatively successful in the business and he has a large compound consisting of some of his extended family members and many slaves. We often take his flocks to different pastures around, fed them and return them home towards evening. On this particular day, we spent more time on the field as some of the sheep needed extra care and we had to spend some time fending for them. They studied the cash flow during the past years and gave projections of what the New Year would look like. They didn't expect any economic growth but they suspected that there could be. However, they were modest and would not want to raise false hopes. While the nation was rejoicing at the experts’ prediction that has that has always been right for over 2 decades, the president summoned them to a meeting to inform them of an inclination he had that the economy of the country was about to take a downward turn. When I was in the university, there was joint this meeting that holds towards the end of every semester. All the Christians on campus under the umbrella body come together for this meeting. It lasts for about 3 weeks and the pastors of different fellowships come to share God's word. There was this night that a pastor preached and he mentioned a statement. He said: 'We have explained enough about the manifestation of sons. It is time to really see the manifestation of the sons'. Wow! At that time, I didn't even know what the manifestation of sons means. Since then, I have heard many teachings and prophecies about the manifestation of sons in this world. Yesterday, I prayed into the night with some of my friends and around 12 am, I was led to continue reading a book by Cindy Trimm-The Prayer Warrior's Way. The book expounds the role of prayers in living a supernatural life daily. She used stories to pass across her message and one of the stories she used is the story of a British Politician- William Wilberforce. In the morning, I retired to my bed and decided to listen to a message. I eventually decided to listen to a message preached in 2017 by Pastor Olubi Johnson- Africa Will Surely Rise. The message was a prophetic expository of the school anthem of the first secondary school in Nigeria- C.M.S Grammar School, Bariga. The school was founded by missionaries. He said he doesn't know all of them except a man called William Wilberforce! Again? This same name? What stunned me more was that the missionaries established the school on June 6th!
