The book of Revelation is one of the most unread book of the bible. This is not because of the volume of the book, but because it is one of the books that is no t easily understood. Many who read it only have an academic knowledge while a lot have abandoned this book. The book was written by one of the disciples of Jesus- John. John was a fisherman when Jesus called him and in Israel at that time, the caste system in their schools puts the best students as Pharisees and Sadducees while the worst are the fishermen. So, John was a man who had little or no academic prowess. With that knowledge of who the writer was, we can see that the book of Revelation is not a book that can be understood academically.
