This world is firstly spiritual which means that if anything will show up in the physical, it must have a precedence in the Spirit. From Revelations 13, it is clear that there will be a government that will unite the whole world and that government will be led by a beast-Antichrist. This one world government has been pictured as a lie that is only believed by religious people. Any attempt to show the direction of this world in line with the one world government, it is mocked and laughed at; even by Christians. This times are heated times and for the church, it is paramount for the ecclesia of Christ to recognize her role in the times. The church is the body of believers saddled with the responsibility to reach others with the gospel. In recent times, there have been questions about the extent to which the church should go in this last days. The seven spheres of influence are ways through which man can be influenced and some circles believe that the church has a role to play in determining the landscape of these spheres while some others believe that the church's role is simply to preach the gospel and disciple men. During the week, the Lord asked me to raise a prayer altar to Him, concerning the pestilence that has gotten the attention of the entire world. Over the weekend, I made out time to pray, and the revealed counsel of the Lord about the situation was so heart warming. China has been a communist nation for a very long time, and this has led to the execution of many believers. I read the story of a missionary in Robert Liardon's God's Generals- Martyrs. Watchman Nee was also killed as a result of his faith in Jesus. Late in 2019, there was an outbreak of a certain virus that carried a different strain from what had been existing before. This made the virus impossible to kill. And as at now, It has spread to many countries, including USA. I give glory to God for the way He led us in the year 2019. It was indeed a spectacular one that furthered the counsel of the LORD in the earth. I particularly was excited at the opportunities the year brought to the body of Christ. A major calling I have is to watch the events happening on earth and tie them with prophecies about the last days. I consider this assignment a huge one because of the nature of the last days.
