A Great Lesson From GOFAMINT's Founding Story

Gospel Faith Mission Intl is celebrating her 70th anniversary in their current convention and Baba Abina, the current overseer shared a story about how the church started that touched my heart.

The founder of the church, Baba George was living in Ebute Metta area of Lagos and because people were living with him, he rented a big house while he was attending C.A.C.

After a while, he couldn't afford the rent of the house again, so he decided to move to another area that has lower rent. That was why he moved to Iwaya, Lagos where the church began.

Baba Abina said as natural as that move was, it was what led to the birth of GOFAMINT! Today, millions are drinking from the river that came out of Iwaya!

This reminds of how the two wives of Jacob brought up several schemes to have Jacob to themself. The rivalry of Leah and Rachael have birth to 12 sons; the exact number of tribes that Israel must have to align with the heavenly pattern that has been existing Jacob was born!

GOFAMINT's story stirs faith in my heart. Destiny-defining events can be clothes in natural events like a painful relocation, casual connection, Facebook friend request.

It then means that some things we consider as challenges are actually the destiny arrangements of God to bring us to where He wants to take us to. Brings to mind that scripture that says all things work together for our good because we love (and belong) our God.

Why Is Cindy Jacobs Important?

Few days ago, I was having a discussion with a prophetess about the depths of the dimensions of God in the life of Cindy Jacobs. I was telling her about some stories about her ministry and how her works has vibrated through several nations. Two days later, I got a notification that she would be coming to Nigeria!
