Prayer Alert: Kaduna State

In my prayer times, the Holy Spirit spoke to me of an urgent situation in Kaduna state that needs to be addressed by prayers. The LORD said that there is a spirit of the scoffer in the land that is resisting the preaching of the gospel. The book of Proverbs actually describes a scoffer as one who denies the existence of God as a result of arrogance and pride. (Pro 21:24) Apostle Peter in 2Pet 3:3-4 describes a scoffer as a person who do not believe that Jesus is coming back again and as a result of that, wants to live according to the flesh and it's lust. 2 Peter 3:4 and saying, "Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as [they were] from the beginning of creation." This spirit is being released over Kaduna state and needs us to pray against it. I remember that there is a part of the vision I shared recently about a twin assembly of Nigerian politicians and pastors that I didn't include in the post I made. In the vis...

Criticism vs Intercession

Few years ago, I learnt from one of Rick Joyner's writing that it is wrong to pay attention to the doings of devil and demons. He added that our soul can begin to take up a dark nature as a result. At that time, it was a bit hard for me to understand. I have found out that if I give attention to what someone, an organization or a generation is doing wrong, it begins to affect the posture of my heart so much that it becomes hard for me to see anything good in them. In other words, your soul begin to get dark. Bitterness, envy, jealousy, gossip, anger are different expressions of darkness in the soul. This is the reason why the scripture says we should guard our hearts. We must learn to consistently see the good in people. Not just their wrong doings alone. Learn to commend people when they do the right thing. Praise them, sometimes publicly to let them know that they are appreciated for the work they are doing. Don't stay in criticism for too long; it harms the soul. And when y...

Nigeria At This Time

After the #EndSARS protests that rocked many parts of the nation, Prophet Fanny organized a meeting where prophets around the country made known their hearts on what they believe God is doing in Nigeria at that time. One of the words that stuck with me was that Nigeria is at war with a strong man. A strong man is a spirit that enforces a certain experience in the territory, a family or an individual. Forward to July 2021, I took some lessons about a strong man and how to deal with it and I found out that a strong man can take the will of a leader in the territory or family and ensure that the person acts according to his dictates. Many of us have seen this manifest in families where someone needs to be eliminated sort of, before some good things can happen. This is because the person has allowed his/her will to be completely usurped by the strong man. Tying this to Nigeria, I have watched Buhari metamorphose in the last 4 years. He seems to get deeper and deeper into somethin...

Book Review: The Prayer Warrior's Way By Cindy Trimm

When I picked up the book to read, I expected to see some 'mighty' words and teachings because I have always known her to be a ‘deep’ teacher, however I simply wanted to learn about the dynamics of intercession more, but what I met was a very simplified exhortation about prayer. This is the first book written by Cindy Trimm I will read. I particularly find her writing pattern different from many Christian authors. She writes in a fascinating manner that makes you want to read more. This book centers on how much can be achieved when we pray. She didn't share anything 'deep', but the book broke me and remolded me to become more like Jesus Intimacy is the theme of the writing and I relearnt intimacy in a beautiful way. Chapter to chapter, she laid it bare that you cannot achieve anything extraordinary if you don't pray. No. Scratch that. You can achieve extraordinary things through prayers. She expounded the Lord's Prayer and supported every p...

In Times Like This: The Witness of William Wilberforce

Yesterday, I prayed into the night with some of my friends and around 12 am, I was led to continue reading a book by Cindy Trimm-The Prayer Warrior's Way. The book expounds the role of prayers in living a supernatural life daily. She used stories to pass across her message and one of the stories she used is the story of a British Politician- William Wilberforce. In the morning, I retired to my bed and decided to listen to a message. I eventually decided to listen to a message preached in 2017 by Pastor Olubi Johnson- Africa Will Surely Rise. The message was a prophetic expository of the school anthem of the first secondary school in Nigeria- C.M.S Grammar School, Bariga. The school was founded by missionaries. He said he doesn't know all of them except a man called William Wilberforce! Again? This same name? What stunned me more was that the missionaries established the school on June 6th! It happened on this very day. Wow! I knew I have to pay attention to William Wilb...

Courts of Heaven: Intercessors' Guide

Sometimes in February 2020, I got a notification about a meeting in the heavens that pertains to Nigeria. It was a court meeting and two great concerns were raised in that meeting. I have been permitted to share about it. One was that of inadequate/incorrect knowledge among watchmen. The reality of the courts in heaven and how to engage them is becoming clearer in the body of Christ. Psalm 82, the story of Job, the account of Micaiah all prove the existence of the courts. The importance of the knowledge of the nature, function and operation of the courts is paramount to the ministry of watchmen in the last days. There are many courts in heaven and they all have different functions. Some are not yet functional, but many are in operation right now. Revelation 5 described the assembly of congregation. Revelation 12 showed the operation of the court where the devil accuses the believers. There are courts over nations and spheres of influences also. Men living on earth are sometim...

Intercession: Following Daniel's Footsteps

The need for intercessors in the earth today, is at the highest level in the history of mankind. This is because the will of the Lord, needs facilitation to be established as the Age is fast rounding up. Kenneth Hagin, in his book- The Art of Prayer, said that 'it is as if God cannot do anything except a man prays' . Intercession, therefore, is very key to the fulfillment of God's will in an individual, community, nation, and the world at large. In the bible, we see several men who played this intercessory role, and got tremendous results. From Abraham, to David, to Elijah, Daniel, Jesus, and Paul; we see different patterns of intercession. At this moment in time, the Lord would have intercessors pay attention to the pattern of intercession pictured in the ministry of Daniel. Daniel's ministry was in captivity, and he was involved in many noble assignments with different kings, but his intercessory ministry never suffered. This is the first lesson...
