Prayer Alert: Kaduna State

In my prayer times, the Holy Spirit spoke to me of an urgent situation in Kaduna state that needs to be addressed by prayers.

The LORD said that there is a spirit of the scoffer in the land that is resisting the preaching of the gospel.

The book of Proverbs actually describes a scoffer as one who denies the existence of God as a result of arrogance and pride. (Pro 21:24)

Apostle Peter in 2Pet 3:3-4 describes a scoffer as a person who do not believe that Jesus is coming back again and as a result of that, wants to live according to the flesh and it's lust.

2 Peter 3:4 and saying, "Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as [they were] from the beginning of creation."

This spirit is being released over Kaduna state and needs us to pray against it.

I remember that there is a part of the vision I shared recently about a twin assembly of Nigerian politicians and pastors that I didn't include in the post I made.

In the vision, while the former president Obasanjo was addressing the assembly of politicians, the former governor of Kaduna state was moving his nose like a scoffer; insinuating that Obasanjo was lying.

Another story that the LORD brought to my heart while I prayed is the story of Paul and Barnabas preaching to proconsul Sergius Paulus in Seleucia.

There was a man beside the proconsul- Elymas, a sorcerer, who was also called Barjesus who was speaking to the ruler not to accept the gospel. See this:

Acts 13:8-10 But Elymas the sorcerer (for so his name is translated) withstood them, seeking to turn the proconsul away from the faith. Then Saul, who also [is called] Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked intently at him and said, "O full of all deceit and all fraud, [you] son of the devil, [you] enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease perverting the straight ways of the Lord?

The spirit at work in Elymas is working in Kaduna at the moment. Can we join our forces and rebuke this spirit over the land of Kaduna?

After being forced out of his land, Lamurudu settled in Egypt for some time where he deepened his knowledge in sorcery. He learned several patterns of rituals which still exists in some parts of Ijebu today. At that time, the Egyptians have developed so well in the worship of their gods who were originally men. The concept of gods begins with a man encountering a demonic prince who is looking for obeisance from men. These princes have the same goal as Lucifer. Oranmiyan (Part 5: The gods of Egypt)

During the sojourn of Lamurudu in Egypt, what was going on in Egypt at that time was similar to what happened in Genesis 6:1-2 where demonic entities found a way to reproduce themselves in women to establish a race of beings that were not fully humans. These creatures were very big that they were called Giants. They had 6 fingers and toes and unusual strength. Bible refer to them as Nephilims which means mysterious beings who are large and strong. Some other meanings called them fallen ones. They had supernatural abilities and they preyed on full humans. The situation was like what was portrayed in Harry Potter that had pure bloods, half bloods, mud bloods and muggles. The pure bloods were the witches whose both parents are also witches, half blood is a witch with one parent as witch, mud blood has both parents as normal people and muggles are non witches.
