Prophetic Arts

We are in a prophetic season where we are seeing the many aspects of the prophetic dimension of God being displayed in men. The primary aim of the prophetic is to be able to know the mind of God. God wills to share His thoughts with us and when we make ourselves available, we can pick the mind of God. I am very fascinated to the many ways. So, the pattern of prophetic training in many quarters is based on how to hear God.

Hearing God is a major course in the lives of believers and God speaks to us in many ways. Basically, we hear God through the written word however, God can also make His mind known to us through the spoken word. Fundamentally, all believers should be able to hear God which means that every believer should be prophetic. Just like God can speak through a prophet in words, He can also speak using sounds, writings, video (drama) and pictures.

Dreams are videos. Trance can be short videos or pictures. One of the dimensions that is becoming pronounced in this times is the use of arts to communicate. We see this many times in the bible with people like Abraham when God told him to look at the stars in the sky. What Abraham saw was a picture. God communicated using a picture. Arts help our imagination to understand what God is saying better.

Just like a writer can write out what he sees in the mind of God and a music minister will sing it out, an artist can also draw it. I have heard of meetings where saints were worshiping God and an artist would draw out what he sees in his heart and after the worship time, some men would speak out the word of the Lord and it would be exactly what the artist just drew! These days, God is opening up abilities to be able to pick His vast mind in pictures and also be able to draw it out.

Sometimes, it is a scripture that an artist turn into picture or a truth of God’s word. The resulting picture makes it real and people are able to relate with it better. I have a friend who will tell me what I saw in dreams using clouds. She brings out God’s word from the formation of clouds. To her, they are more than pictures; they ‘speak’ and she has always been accurate!

Prophetic arts cannot just communicate truths, they can also communicate God’s power. What Jacob did with the sheep of Laban is a mystery that can only be explained through prophetic arts. There have been times that an image was impressed upon your heart and it led you to many supernatural things. While we must endeavor to stay within the written word and not ‘seek supernatural experiences’, we must understand that they do exist.

So, if you have been sensing this within you, please, take it serious. It is God.

Oranmiyan (Part 3: Origin of Yoruba)

Our journey will begin by identifying who the Yoruba people are. From the stories and relics of the children of the tribe, it is obvious that the projenitors of the tribe were deeply rooted in sorcery. Especially those who constitute the royal families. Their blood lines is soaked in idolatry, divination and sorcery. They know how to access principalities and powers and learn their worship modes. There are many stories about the origin of the Yoruba race. The Yoruba race has two major stories about their origin. One is supernatural. The other is natural The supernatural or divine one said that the supreme being, God, sent a god- Obatala to come and create the earth, but he got drunk and God had to send another god- Oduduwa. This is what some people hold. This school of thought has several loopholes chief of which is that Oduduwa entered Ile Ife in 11AD, but Ife Arts, according to carbon dating goes way back as 500BC which means that there was life in Ile Ife before Oduduwa came in. Oranmiyan (Part 4: Lamurudu vs Oduduwa)

After being forced out of his land, Lamurudu settled in Egypt for some time where he deepened his knowledge in sorcery. He learned several patterns of rituals which still exists in some parts of Ijebu today. At that time, the Egyptians have developed so well in the worship of their gods who were originally men. The concept of gods begins with a man encountering a demonic prince who is looking for obeisance from men. These princes have the same goal as Lucifer. Once they begin to get attention from a man, the man begins to take up their (dark) nature because it is a law in the spirit realm that whatever you behold, you become. The consecration of these men to the worship of the princes led to the reproduction of the abilities and characteristics of the prince in the man, so the man becomes great among other men. Most of these men takes up the name of the prince that they worship such that when the man dies, you can keep calling his name and the prince responds to your request thereby es

Oranmiyan (Part 5: The gods of Egypt)

During the sojourn of Lamurudu in Egypt, what was going on in Egypt at that time was similar to what happened in Genesis 6:1-2 where demonic entities found a way to reproduce themselves in women to establish a race of beings that were not fully humans. These creatures were very big that they were called Giants. They had 6 fingers and toes and unusual strength. Bible refer to them as Nephilims which means mysterious beings who are large and strong. Some other meanings called them fallen ones. They had supernatural abilities and they preyed on full humans. The situation was like what was portrayed in Harry Potter that had pure bloods, half bloods, mud bloods and muggles. The pure bloods were the witches whose both parents are also witches, half blood is a witch with one parent as witch, mud blood has both parents as normal people and muggles are non witches. At that time in Genesis 6, the Nephilims had created another race on earth that paralleled the pure humans. This what why God sent
