Shameful Calling?

After my last story about David, the official bastard. I got a call from someone, a lady and she said "Olanrewaju, can you please share my story on your blog? It would encourage your readers". After considering it, I decided to hear it first, but after I heard her story, I knew it would be perfect for you! I interviewed her and this is what I got:

Olanrewaju: Can you please share your story with me?

My New Friend: I will tell you about my life before I got married. I was a very modest lady who attracted praises from her parents, respect from the church members, admiration from the young men and of course, envy from some sisters. However, I remained humble, purposeful and pure. Even the pastor used me as an example as he was preaching one of his long sermons.

Olanrewaju (thinking): That's a wonderful résumé!

My New Friend: I got engaged to a young man in our church. He was God-fearing and he loved me with the whole of his heart. We had our introduction in a modest way because my dad didn't like parties.

Olanrewaju (thinking): I like your dad! Parties are so boring!

My New Friend: The wedding date was picked and preparations started. My mum and I went to different markets to make arrangements for several things. A foreign-designed invitation card were sent out and everything was already falling into place when I had a dream. The dream sounded impossible to me and it could scatter my planned wedding so I kept it to myself. After some weeks, I began to feel weak and to worsen the case, my period went on holiday. I hurried to a pharmacy to get a strip to drive away my fear. Unfortunately, it came out positive! I was pregnant.

Olanrewaju (thinking): Ghen Ghen

My New Friend: I became confused. How would I get pregnant without having sex? All I had was a dream where someone that looks like an Angel told me that I have been chosen to carry the One who will save everyone and the Holy Spirit will be the one to impregnate me. Who will believe me? Who impregnated you? Holy Spirit! No no no! It can't be; am not pregnant. So I brushed it aside and continued my wedding preparations which was now close and because of that, the preparations was more tedious. One day at the market with my mum, I collapsed and I was taken to the hospital. After series of tests, our family doctor who also attends our church came out with a small paper and his face was like that of a medical student who failed an in-course.

Olanrewaju (thinking): It's time to confess

My New Friend: My mum was the first to ask him why his face was so messed up. He replied: Mary is pregnant! My amazement shocked the two of them as they marveled at what was surprising me. It was a fierce battle. What do you mean by the Holy Spirit is the one responsible for your pregnancy? My dad could not hold his disappointment! He swinged his hands and something that felt like the splash of hot oil landed on my face. It took me several minutes before I could regain complete consciousness.

Olanrewaju (thinking): As in, I just love your dad. I don't know why.

My New Friend: My dad picked his phone and called my fiancé. My fiancé came in smiling like someone who just inherited the wealth of Bill Gates. After greeting my parents, he said to me: "my baby, I just posted our pre-wedding pictures on Facebook. You can't imagine how many likes it had gotten in just few hours". " She is pregnant", my dad shouted! "And I want to know if you're the one responsible because she is telling me one tale about the Holy Spirit". The rhythm of the question stole the smile on his face as he repeated: " She is pregnant? " Tears began to run a bitter race on his face and I had to save him from my dad's claws. "He is not the one responsible". It was as if I started the fire again.

Olanrewaju (thinking): Deep shit for you!

My New Friend: My fiancé called off the wedding and our pastor was notified. He announced it in church, saying that "Well, our dear sister has joined herself to a ghost and the ghost, she shall marry, but I won't be the one ministering that day". The shame was much for me to handle, so my dad said I should go and spend some time with my aunty who lived in another town. It was a big relief for me. While I was with my aunt, who just got pregnant too after a long time, I got a call from my fiancé who said he needs to see me urgently. He proved the urgency of the matter as he agreed to come and see me in the other town. He narrated his story how he had seen an Angel in his dream who told him that he should take me as his wife despite the mysterious pregnancy. At first, my parents didn't like the idea because it looked like a set-up between us, but they were later convinced that my pregnancy was truly strange.

Olanrewaju: Are you serious?

My New Friend: Yes, they believed. I got married to my fiancé but he never touched me till I gave birth to a boy in his hometown because of a census. You see, Olanrewaju, if God has called you to be or do something, but you consider it a shameful thing to do, you are not the first. Stay in line with God and He will vindicate you eventually.

Olanrewaju: Hmmm

My New Friend: Let me show you something that Paul the apostle wrote: Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. The good news of Christ for you comes with an element of shame. Don't be shy to carry the cross; He carried his own and He is your yoke bearer too. Be strong. That's my story

Olanrewaju: Your story has really inspired me. Am grateful and am also looking forward to hearing from some of your friends over there too. If they want to share...lol

Oranmiyan (Part 3: Origin of Yoruba)

Our journey will begin by identifying who the Yoruba people are. From the stories and relics of the children of the tribe, it is obvious that the projenitors of the tribe were deeply rooted in sorcery. Especially those who constitute the royal families. Their blood lines is soaked in idolatry, divination and sorcery. They know how to access principalities and powers and learn their worship modes. There are many stories about the origin of the Yoruba race. The Yoruba race has two major stories about their origin. One is supernatural. The other is natural The supernatural or divine one said that the supreme being, God, sent a god- Obatala to come and create the earth, but he got drunk and God had to send another god- Oduduwa. This is what some people hold. This school of thought has several loopholes chief of which is that Oduduwa entered Ile Ife in 11AD, but Ife Arts, according to carbon dating goes way back as 500BC which means that there was life in Ile Ife before Oduduwa came in. Oranmiyan (Part 4: Lamurudu vs Oduduwa)

After being forced out of his land, Lamurudu settled in Egypt for some time where he deepened his knowledge in sorcery. He learned several patterns of rituals which still exists in some parts of Ijebu today. At that time, the Egyptians have developed so well in the worship of their gods who were originally men. The concept of gods begins with a man encountering a demonic prince who is looking for obeisance from men. These princes have the same goal as Lucifer. Once they begin to get attention from a man, the man begins to take up their (dark) nature because it is a law in the spirit realm that whatever you behold, you become. The consecration of these men to the worship of the princes led to the reproduction of the abilities and characteristics of the prince in the man, so the man becomes great among other men. Most of these men takes up the name of the prince that they worship such that when the man dies, you can keep calling his name and the prince responds to your request thereby es

Oranmiyan (Part 5: The gods of Egypt)

During the sojourn of Lamurudu in Egypt, what was going on in Egypt at that time was similar to what happened in Genesis 6:1-2 where demonic entities found a way to reproduce themselves in women to establish a race of beings that were not fully humans. These creatures were very big that they were called Giants. They had 6 fingers and toes and unusual strength. Bible refer to them as Nephilims which means mysterious beings who are large and strong. Some other meanings called them fallen ones. They had supernatural abilities and they preyed on full humans. The situation was like what was portrayed in Harry Potter that had pure bloods, half bloods, mud bloods and muggles. The pure bloods were the witches whose both parents are also witches, half blood is a witch with one parent as witch, mud blood has both parents as normal people and muggles are non witches. At that time in Genesis 6, the Nephilims had created another race on earth that paralleled the pure humans. This what why God sent
