14th May- 10th Day on Camp
Gallant and strong describes the way i felt when i woke up. Songs flowed from my heart to God as i moved to the parade ground.
Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation.
Parade ground that was cold became hot when the camp commandant took over. We received the greatest punishment since camp started. As usual, only a few erred(...they came to the parade late), but we were all punished. When we complained, the commandant said that we are 'one body'. That sent me into a theatre of meditation.
Christ on earth exists as a body. As much as i would agree that the body is not united with respect to doctrine, i say that the greatest challenge against the body is immaturity. Many truths have been restored by the Spirit beginning from the days of protestanism, but many have refused to be established in the present truth.
A measure of God is in the catholic church; the denomination that God used to sustain or carry on the light of the knowledge of Christ throughout the dark ages which lasted for over 1,000 years.
Ephesians 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.
The punishment lasted for long and i really felt the pains from my knees(...the pains started from my secondary school; i attended a paramilitary secondary school where we received several punishments and i can't kneel down for long again since then).
I joined the web design class for skill acquisition and during lunch, i sat with some guys who talked about influencing their place of primary assignment. We call it 'long leg', but i call it 'tampering with God's sovereignty'. If our hands is in all our decisions, we will limit God in our lives which will dent our hope of fulfilling purpose. Those who leave everything in God's hands see God's hand in everything.
Though i wasn't marching, i wasn't released from the evening parade. It stretched me and my head ached for the first time on camp. I eventually took excuse to attend NCCF.
Psalms 84:7 They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.
