17th May-13th Day on Camp
Being in a room of more than 100 occupants is a big adventure. When you feel sleepy, Messi and Ronaldo may be holding a presidential debate; when you want to study, Goodluck and Buhari are on the football field; curses fly around like molecules of air and buckets travel like an Emirates plane(...i have found mine). While someone is using a mosquito net as a cover cloth, many are snorring after drinking.
After a sound sleep of about 7hours, i dressed up for service without catarrgh. I sat beside the window and a lady with a fancy phone sat beside me. She chatted and played game for more than half of the service. This is actually quite common nowadays. People chat during service and it is not a sign of respect for the presense of the Father.
Social media which has come under great attack by some church members is actually a tool in the hands of the Lord through us. It is the same story with the television. It was called the devil's box when it was first produced, but later was discovered to be a very great tool in the hand of God.
Social media should be used by christians for Christ.
Colossians 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
There was a drama presentation during the service. A man dressed like God had he face painted all white and a questionn dropped in my heart. Is God old?
God is ancient, but He doesn't grow or develop.
Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
I ate 3 square meals today and i discovered that the food i thought to be Semovita is actually Tuwo(...i have eaten it like thrice without discovering).
My cultural dance group lost out of the competition.
News filtered into camp that 70 people were killed in Plateau state yesterday. My reality is shalom shalom; nothing missing, nothing broken.
My system is back at home without a scratch...God is faithful to His word
