Diary of a Corper 20

23rd May- 19th Day on Camp

When camp first started, the queue for food (...guys are the ones that jump this queue) was not much because people still had money, but when the third week started, the queue became very long and the people patronizing the camp market reduced(...no money again). Now, the queues are almost non-existing because alawee have been paid.

A lot of people are hoping that they will be posted to the state capital-Jos while some others have even bribed some officials to  post them to Jos(...rumor said they paid 30,000). It is not until you are in a political/public office that you can be corrupt. Bribe giving/taking is against the scripture.

Psalms  26:8 LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.  26:9 Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men:  26:10 In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes.

Today is the last day that one trumpet will wake me up by 04:00am. The atmosphere is very cold as usual.

I spent most of the day in my room. My bunk mate(...i was allocated to the upper bunk) asked if i have ever had sex and i told him that i haven't. He said that i will be clueless about sex and my wife won't enjoy me.

Marriage is not made for sex, but sex made for marriage, so it will be wrong for anyone to 'find out' if a partner is sexually compactible or not.

1 Corinthians 6:18   Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

Dictionary defines fornication as sexual intercourse, especially on the part of an unmarried person.

Tonight is the last activity on camp- it will be camp fire night. While chatting with a friend from my platoon, my platoon leader approached us and he asked for #200 to buy 'ororo'. I didnt understand what he meant so he explained that the ororo is McDowell. I still didnt understand until my friend told me that it's alcohol. My friend replied that we are christians. He protested that he is a christian too, even a chorister.

Proverbs  31:6 Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts.

Camp night was really fun. Alcohol and cigarette was all over. Even clinic shared condoms before the event started. Soldiers forced everyone to stay on the field which was full of smell of alcohol. There was cooking competition too, but my platoon took the last position.

Zonal awareness in today's service was awesome.Places other than Jos in Plateau is highly remote.

Tomorrow is NCCF choice. Only God knows what He is planning.

Oranmiyan (Part 3: Origin of Yoruba)

Our journey will begin by identifying who the Yoruba people are. From the stories and relics of the children of the tribe, it is obvious that the projenitors of the tribe were deeply rooted in sorcery. Especially those who constitute the royal families. Their blood lines is soaked in idolatry, divination and sorcery. They know how to access principalities and powers and learn their worship modes. There are many stories about the origin of the Yoruba race. The Yoruba race has two major stories about their origin. One is supernatural. The other is natural The supernatural or divine one said that the supreme being, God, sent a god- Obatala to come and create the earth, but he got drunk and God had to send another god- Oduduwa. This is what some people hold. This school of thought has several loopholes chief of which is that Oduduwa entered Ile Ife in 11AD, but Ife Arts, according to carbon dating goes way back as 500BC which means that there was life in Ile Ife before Oduduwa came in. Oranmiyan (Part 4: Lamurudu vs Oduduwa)

After being forced out of his land, Lamurudu settled in Egypt for some time where he deepened his knowledge in sorcery. He learned several patterns of rituals which still exists in some parts of Ijebu today. At that time, the Egyptians have developed so well in the worship of their gods who were originally men. The concept of gods begins with a man encountering a demonic prince who is looking for obeisance from men. These princes have the same goal as Lucifer. Once they begin to get attention from a man, the man begins to take up their (dark) nature because it is a law in the spirit realm that whatever you behold, you become. The consecration of these men to the worship of the princes led to the reproduction of the abilities and characteristics of the prince in the man, so the man becomes great among other men. Most of these men takes up the name of the prince that they worship such that when the man dies, you can keep calling his name and the prince responds to your request thereby es

Oranmiyan (Part 5: The gods of Egypt)

During the sojourn of Lamurudu in Egypt, what was going on in Egypt at that time was similar to what happened in Genesis 6:1-2 where demonic entities found a way to reproduce themselves in women to establish a race of beings that were not fully humans. These creatures were very big that they were called Giants. They had 6 fingers and toes and unusual strength. Bible refer to them as Nephilims which means mysterious beings who are large and strong. Some other meanings called them fallen ones. They had supernatural abilities and they preyed on full humans. The situation was like what was portrayed in Harry Potter that had pure bloods, half bloods, mud bloods and muggles. The pure bloods were the witches whose both parents are also witches, half blood is a witch with one parent as witch, mud blood has both parents as normal people and muggles are non witches. At that time in Genesis 6, the Nephilims had created another race on earth that paralleled the pure humans. This what why God sent
