Diary of a Corper 13

16th May-12th Day on Camp

I dressed up smiling mischieviously because i know i wouldn't be at parade because of cultural dance practise. (...i woke up with catarrgh). After the morning prayers, the dance group went aside and started training and i was chosen to beat the gong. The gong is the same instrument used to announce a message from a yoruba king.

Our mouth is like a gong, announcing something or better still announcing someone. We are visible in the spiritual world. Angels and Demons can recognise us(...remember the 7 sons of Sceva). How we use our mouth will determine how much respect we will get from both Angels and demons.

Matthew  8:28 And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.  8:29 And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?

Did you notice that Jesus was recognised before even talking?

James  3:2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.

The HIV/AIDS training ended today and we took an oath to be faithful to the work. I am now a PET(Peer Educator Trainer). After the small ceremony, we held a rally round camp where we sang several songs to sensitize the corpers and soldiers about the virus. The lyrics of one of the songs goes thus:

"How many boyfriend only you get)2ce

Eeeh, you go catch HIV)2ce

Eeeh eeeh eeeh, you go catch HIV

How many boyfriend only you get"

I sat among some igbo boys during a football match between corpers and staffs(...corpers won 2-0). The boys were talking about how they do sit in a formation manner during exams while they were in school. I am familiar with that talk. Helping someone in the exam hall is not love,it is exam malpractise.

James  3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

I have always wondered where musicians get the ladies they use in their music videos, but am no longer confused about that. I have seen very shameless girls here(...God have mercy).

Proverbs 31:10   Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.

I couldn't beat the gong for my platoon at the eventual presentation because my head was aching and the temperature of my body was quite high so i went to sleep without dinner(...the rice served was half cooked). I was interviewed again at NCCF and it is becoming scary.

Oranmiyan (Part 3: Origin of Yoruba)

Our journey will begin by identifying who the Yoruba people are. From the stories and relics of the children of the tribe, it is obvious that the projenitors of the tribe were deeply rooted in sorcery. Especially those who constitute the royal families. Their blood lines is soaked in idolatry, divination and sorcery. They know how to access principalities and powers and learn their worship modes. There are many stories about the origin of the Yoruba race. The Yoruba race has two major stories about their origin. One is supernatural. The other is natural The supernatural or divine one said that the supreme being, God, sent a god- Obatala to come and create the earth, but he got drunk and God had to send another god- Oduduwa. This is what some people hold. This school of thought has several loopholes chief of which is that Oduduwa entered Ile Ife in 11AD, but Ife Arts, according to carbon dating goes way back as 500BC which means that there was life in Ile Ife before Oduduwa came in. Oranmiyan (Part 4: Lamurudu vs Oduduwa)

After being forced out of his land, Lamurudu settled in Egypt for some time where he deepened his knowledge in sorcery. He learned several patterns of rituals which still exists in some parts of Ijebu today. At that time, the Egyptians have developed so well in the worship of their gods who were originally men. The concept of gods begins with a man encountering a demonic prince who is looking for obeisance from men. These princes have the same goal as Lucifer. Once they begin to get attention from a man, the man begins to take up their (dark) nature because it is a law in the spirit realm that whatever you behold, you become. The consecration of these men to the worship of the princes led to the reproduction of the abilities and characteristics of the prince in the man, so the man becomes great among other men. Most of these men takes up the name of the prince that they worship such that when the man dies, you can keep calling his name and the prince responds to your request thereby es

Oranmiyan (Part 5: The gods of Egypt)

During the sojourn of Lamurudu in Egypt, what was going on in Egypt at that time was similar to what happened in Genesis 6:1-2 where demonic entities found a way to reproduce themselves in women to establish a race of beings that were not fully humans. These creatures were very big that they were called Giants. They had 6 fingers and toes and unusual strength. Bible refer to them as Nephilims which means mysterious beings who are large and strong. Some other meanings called them fallen ones. They had supernatural abilities and they preyed on full humans. The situation was like what was portrayed in Harry Potter that had pure bloods, half bloods, mud bloods and muggles. The pure bloods were the witches whose both parents are also witches, half blood is a witch with one parent as witch, mud blood has both parents as normal people and muggles are non witches. At that time in Genesis 6, the Nephilims had created another race on earth that paralleled the pure humans. This what why God sent
