Your Love Story (Part 3): Free At Last?



Seun didn’t reach out to me as she promised. I waited and fear grew in my heart. I didn’t hear of any crash. What is happening? Why is Seun not reaching out to me? I went to her office to find out. The man I met said he cannot give me her contact because it’s against company policy. When I was going to make a scene, I was sent out of the place. I went home sore sick. Have I lost my wife? All her friends have not been able to reach her. She has gone completely dark. My pastor encouraged me to stay in faith. I kept praying and asking God to take care of her and help me to reach her.

It was two weeks after she left that I heard a soft knock on my door. My friends have increased their visitations to my house and it has been helpful. I opened the door casually hoping to see a familiar face, but I was taken aback when I saw the man from Seun’s work place that has refused to give me Seun’s contact. I looked at him with a little bit of disdain. He explained that he has not been feeling at ease since the day I visited and asked for Seun’s contact.

He felt it is wrong of Seun not to contact me. So he has decided to go against the policy of the company by giving me the contact in secret. He said ‘I am doing this so that you can save your marriage especially because of the things I see on her WhatsApp statuses’. I called immediately, but she didn’t answer the calls.

The statuses I checked suggested that she was having an affair. Could this be true? I messaged her, but she didn’t reply. That night was the heaviest prayer I have prayed in my entire life. I couldn’t even say a word. I just sat there sobbing. I heard Firesola’s voice. I went to her room and found her smiling. God was giving me comfort already.

When Seun finally replied my messages, she said she didn’t reach me because she doesn’t want to be disturbed and wants to focus on her training. I asked about the statuses and she denied having an affair. After that day, I never saw a single status again. She blocked me. I couldn’t concentrate at work very well again so I had to take a leave. My marriage is barely a year and it was hitting rocks already. Reaching Seun after that time was very hard and anytime she answers, she was always in a rush to end the call after about 20 seconds. I knew things were getting out of hand.

Few days ago, I was having a discussion with a prophetess about the depths of the dimensions of God in the life of Cindy Jacobs. I was telling her about some stories about her ministry and how her works has vibrated through several nations. Two days later, I got a notification that she would be coming to Nigeria!
