The last 100
years seemed like the best of man on the earth, as innovations and inventions
boomed at a rate that made some biological scientists to begin to push the idea
that evolution had occurred to the Homo sapien;
that man had become another specie- Sapien
sapien (the wise man).
We became
completely enthralled by our wisdom, that the argument against any form of
divinity became logical in all the spheres of influence. We became confident in
the fact that we can handle the earth and the world. But in all these, our
folly was also at its peak!
While enjoying
the ride of civilization, we disobeyed every single law that holds the earth
and world in balance. The consequences were glaring, but we ignored them and followed
our wise folly! It's obvious that man never learns. We had a world war that
killed hundreds of thousands. One would think that we would be sober and change
our attitude towards each other, but no! Just 20 years down the line and we
were back in another world war!
The owner of
the earth had set boundaries that must not be altered, but He is not
politically correct. I remember how an atheist professor of microbiology
explained why homosexuals are endangering the entire human race in a class when
I was in the university. Microorganisms that are supposed to be in the
excretory system are being transferred to the sexual organs and thereby
bringing new diseases into the scene. We broke laws and we smirked!
I have found
out that the signs of the last days in Matthew 24 are not going to happen as a
result of the imminent coming of Jesus, but they will be events that will
overwhelm man as a result of the damage that we have done to the earth and
world. The damage will be so much that mankind will be in danger of extinction!
The last days
are not perilous because God has become the new Führer, rather because the
foolishness of man will finally catch up with him. The inventions and
innovations that were supposed to bring us closer to God, made us neglect God
and we have told our souls to "eat, drink, and be merry". Go and read
that parable. The guy didn't last the night!
When you
choose to leave God out of a thing, the best you can get on the long run is
folly! Paul, the apostle said "don't fool yourself. Don't think that you
can be wise merely by being up-to-date with the times. Be God's fool--that's
the path to true wisdom. What the world calls smart, God calls stupid. It's
written in Scripture, He exposes the chicanery of the chic."
COVID-19 has
packed it bags already. We are resuming back to work all over the world. We are
going to return back to our "normal" life of "eat, drink and be
merry". This is the very reason why "two men will be in the field:
one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill:
one will be taken and the other left."

we have lost this one already. The earth is quaking from our shortsighted
breakthroughs. The land, sea and air are all reacting to man's actions. Atomic
and sub-atomic particles. Even the intergalactic realm. The 7 spheres that
shape the world are all in disarray! That's why politics has become extremely
volatile all over the world.
Then "the
LORD looks down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there are any
who understand, who seek God."
