The roommates I had in my final year in school was completely different from the roommates of the other years. The room was always 'on fire' as almost everyone in the room was a 'pastor'. I mean majority were hungry for God, so there was always a message playing, some people discussing scriptures or someone praying in the Spirit.
It was a time full of awesome testimonies. I remembered the day we discussed John 17. We were all screaming and jumping. At a time I fell sick and they gathered and we kept on reading the bible and praying in the Spirit till I was healed.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was always talking in the room. If he wasn't around, Archbishop Benson or Bishop Oyedepo would be thundering. Pastor Olubi Johnson, Jentezen Franklin, Pastor Poju, Joseph Prince, Joel Osteen were also in the pack. We were soaking in so so much
In the midst of all these, there was a Muslim, very devout. Very quiet and a moralist. He enjoyed the room for a long time until something happened. My friends could no longer take it, so they started telling him that Jesus is the Way. It was like a war. He wouldn't agree and my friends wouldn't give up.
One day, he came to report them to me. He said they were pressuring his life to agree with their religion which he doesn't believe in. He made a statement that made my heart bled. He said: " you're my only friend in this room". The reason for this statement was because I WAS NOT PREACHING TO HIM.
He found me as a place of safety, but it was actually a place of disobedience to the great commission. Yesterday, I heard the testimony of two people who were muslims before and they are now christians!
Today, some one told me the story of a man called George Meanings who was living in Philadelphia, but he moved to another town where he became a christian. After some time, he visited his friend in Philadelphia. After three days, he friend asked him what the end of unbelievers would be and George replied 'lake of fire'. He friend then said: 'Could it be that you have no human feelings again or why is it that you have not preached to me since you got here?
