Taxi Episode- Great Trek

I have written about episodes from a taxi and a bike. Today, I was not privileged to get a taxi or a bike. They all declined going to my destination. After standing for about 25 minutes without any success, I decided to trek to the next junction to try again. But it was the same story. Instead of waiting for a taxi that may never come, I started trekking.

Lagos-Ibadan express way is known for heavy traffic especially when you move towards Iwo-Road area. The heavy duty vehicles were so much that the taxis looked like they were trespassing on the express road. I had to engage my mind in some fruitful meditations while I maneuvered my way between the trailers.

After trekking for about an hour, I got to a junction where the problem seemed to have started from. It was a real mess. Both sides of the road were blocked. Cars moving towards Lagos had crossed to the other side and blocked those coming from Lagos. Horns were blaring and bikes were competing for the little space left with pedestrians who have been left with just a choice. I was slightly hit by one of the bikes.

You see, just like the man behind the wheels decide where the car goes so also does the nature of a man decides how he lives. Unbelievers have the sin nature and this just normally bring out fruits. Just being a moralist does not mean a man is saved. Salvation begins with the change of nature.

Driving especially in a place like Ibadan where NURTW folks are kings on the road and they do as they wish, will help you to check if your tongues is really tamed and if you truly have patience. Patience could have prevented the traffic jam. Why should you jump from your lane to another man's lane?

Don't act as if you're wiser than God; stay where He put you. Being enticed by another man's path would spell disaster. He knows better; let Him lead. Just trust and obey. It saves one from years of wasteful efforts.

Soon enough, I got to a junction where I had the choice to branch off the express way and head towards my house. I didn't fight it; my legs were already weak. If you're on a road and you know that it's not the will of the Father, don't be afraid of turning back. Men may mock you, but we are living our life under the audience of One.

Close to my house, I started feeling dizzy. I couldn't see clearly. I had used up my strength walking and I still have to cross the Ibadan-Ife express way. I was a bit scared because I didn't know how to get across the road. Then I thought, I shouldn't be the only one crossing the road. Sometimes, we need brothers and sisters to lean on to keep moving. Don't travel alone, you need others. I was however, able to cross the road well without any problem.

Oranmiyan (Part 3: Origin of Yoruba)

Our journey will begin by identifying who the Yoruba people are. From the stories and relics of the children of the tribe, it is obvious that the projenitors of the tribe were deeply rooted in sorcery. Especially those who constitute the royal families. Their blood lines is soaked in idolatry, divination and sorcery. They know how to access principalities and powers and learn their worship modes. There are many stories about the origin of the Yoruba race. The Yoruba race has two major stories about their origin. One is supernatural. The other is natural The supernatural or divine one said that the supreme being, God, sent a god- Obatala to come and create the earth, but he got drunk and God had to send another god- Oduduwa. This is what some people hold. This school of thought has several loopholes chief of which is that Oduduwa entered Ile Ife in 11AD, but Ife Arts, according to carbon dating goes way back as 500BC which means that there was life in Ile Ife before Oduduwa came in. Oranmiyan (Part 4: Lamurudu vs Oduduwa)

After being forced out of his land, Lamurudu settled in Egypt for some time where he deepened his knowledge in sorcery. He learned several patterns of rituals which still exists in some parts of Ijebu today. At that time, the Egyptians have developed so well in the worship of their gods who were originally men. The concept of gods begins with a man encountering a demonic prince who is looking for obeisance from men. These princes have the same goal as Lucifer. Once they begin to get attention from a man, the man begins to take up their (dark) nature because it is a law in the spirit realm that whatever you behold, you become. The consecration of these men to the worship of the princes led to the reproduction of the abilities and characteristics of the prince in the man, so the man becomes great among other men. Most of these men takes up the name of the prince that they worship such that when the man dies, you can keep calling his name and the prince responds to your request thereby es

Oranmiyan (Part 5: The gods of Egypt)

During the sojourn of Lamurudu in Egypt, what was going on in Egypt at that time was similar to what happened in Genesis 6:1-2 where demonic entities found a way to reproduce themselves in women to establish a race of beings that were not fully humans. These creatures were very big that they were called Giants. They had 6 fingers and toes and unusual strength. Bible refer to them as Nephilims which means mysterious beings who are large and strong. Some other meanings called them fallen ones. They had supernatural abilities and they preyed on full humans. The situation was like what was portrayed in Harry Potter that had pure bloods, half bloods, mud bloods and muggles. The pure bloods were the witches whose both parents are also witches, half blood is a witch with one parent as witch, mud blood has both parents as normal people and muggles are non witches. At that time in Genesis 6, the Nephilims had created another race on earth that paralleled the pure humans. This what why God sent
