A significant prophecy about the end time is that nations will be shaken so much that things that have existed will lose their place, the strength of nations will be destroyed and new things will be established as we move towards the appearing of our LORD, Jesus and the taking away of the church from the earth. This was prophesied by Joel, Haggai and the LORD, Jesus Himself.
This shaking is as a result of the increasing fires in the earth which is a direct implication of the intercession of the saints. The earth is currently being heated by the prayers of the saints. You would recall that prayers started back at the white house in the current administration after the 8 dark years reign of Obama. President Trump has, severally brought ministers of God into the government building to lead prayers. Also, there were several prayer gatherings in many countries of the world- Washington DC, USA (which plays a significnt role in the governmental authority that rules the world right now), a national prayer conference in Texas, USA, International Prayer Conference in Sri Lanka, prayer gatherings in Vienna and many more. These prayer gatherings had a direct implication on the world events of 2018.
NORTH KOREA AND ETHIOPIA
North Korea Leader with American president |
Nations that have been held in deep slavery by their government are being released as the grip of their rulers were loosened. This is making more ways to be created for the gospel to enter their land and the light of God to shine forth into them. This is what started in North Korea when Kim Jong Un began to submit to the western pressure of denuclearization. It was a shock to the whole world who never expected Kim to submit to Trump's 'unholy' methods. Plans are still going on to further open the nation to the West. This is the platform that the gospel has been waiting for.
Ethiopia President |
Also, the signing of the peace deal between Ethiopia and Eritrea whose process started 18 years ago after a 12 years old war that saw about 80,000 people killed. Ethiopia has now joined the African Union which makes the country open to more immigrants. North Korea and Ethiopia are the 2 major nations that the LORD moved valiantly to move away the Babylonian army and establish righteousness, peace and joy in their land.
UK AND BREXIT
UK Prime Minister |
Brexit began to gather momentum in 2017 and it is simply the withdrawal of Britain from the European Union. This has a lot of political, economical and military implications on the entire Europe. There have been several meetings and court judgement. You will recall that the former prime minister- David Cameron resigned when the nation voted to leave the EU. Right now, the entire Europe is bracing for a new EU without the Great Britain. The shaking of these nations is not coincidental. The pressures are beginning to grip them.
#MeToo Movement
The #MeToo Movement is a call against sexual abuse by people who seem to be powerful beyond the laws of their land. Over the years, there have been several popular figures that have been accused of sexual abuse, but late 2017, the #MeToo Movement started and justice has caught up with a lot of people. The movement started in USA, but did not stay there as it moved to Europe and the middle East. Many have been jailed as a result of this. This shows that the kingdom of God growing in the earth because righteousness and justice are the scepters of the kingdom of God. When you see righteousness and justice being established in a land, the kingdom of God is around the corner.
Indonesian Earthquake |
There are many more occurrences in 2018 that really shows that the end is here. Earthquakes in several places like Indonesia, Iran, Mexico, USA, Peru, Honduras, Japan killing about 3,000 people. The war in Syria continues, Iraq celebrated Christmas as a national holiday for the first time in the history of the nation, Hurricane Micheal, the murder of Saudi Arabian dissident- Jamal Ahmad Khashoggi and the California fires all completes a year full of signs of the end times. Jesus is close!
LORD Jesus, Come!
