Shullamite Soul

How would it feel To stand before the brilliance of the blazing Shekinah Look into the boiling loving eyes How would it feel To sing my heart to Him That has filled my heart How would it feel, To play the strings of His heart As words and melodies from my mouth. How would it feel To sing my love to the saviour That cleansed my sins How would it feel To rest in His bossom Saved, Sanctified and Satisfied How would it feel To grab my guitar And vocalise the thoughts of El Gibor Just How would it feel? How?!

Beerlahairoi

If you are a consistent reader of my writings, you will know that I have always advocated for gaining knowledge for the right reasons. When you hear something that sounds new or spooky, the right response is to find out what it means and what the LORD will have you do about the new knowledge. Bible confirms it that grace is multiplied by knowledge. SO we must always seek to expand our knowledge of God, not for the lust of high sounding words, but for the embodiment of the entire lamb. Beerlahairoi is the name of a well in the book of Genesis. Hagar had just been pushed to have sex with Abraham by her boss, Sarah. She become proud of her new position and this didn’t go so well with Sarah. Sarah could not take the fact that she now had to share Abraham with her slave, who had even become pregnant. The battle was a simple one. She made the house unbearable for the Egyptian slave; she ran away. On her way, she met an Angel by a well. The Angel queried her about her journey, s...

Criticism vs Intercession

Few years ago, I learnt from one of Rick Joyner's writing that it is wrong to pay attention to the doings of devil and demons. He added that our soul can begin to take up a dark nature as a result. At that time, it was a bit hard for me to understand. I have found out that if I give attention to what someone, an organization or a generation is doing wrong, it begins to affect the posture of my heart so much that it becomes hard for me to see anything good in them. In other words, your soul begin to get dark. Bitterness, envy, jealousy, gossip, anger are different expressions of darkness in the soul. This is the reason why the scripture says we should guard our hearts. We must learn to consistently see the good in people. Not just their wrong doings alone. Learn to commend people when they do the right thing. Praise them, sometimes publicly to let them know that they are appreciated for the work they are doing. Don't stay in criticism for too long; it harms the soul. And when y...

Does God Use Introverts? (Part 2)

Introversion is a posture of the soul where a person is more interested in what goes on within him or her than what happens outside. This trait affects their social character so much that some can be characterised as non-social. Our upbringing has a lot of effect on our soul that makes us to have different temperaments. This is not a final sentence as they can be remodelled into another structure. The Salvation offered by Jesus Christ is not meant for the spirit alone, but it is such that it brings the entire spirit, soul and body of man into wholeness according to God's standard. The soul which comprises of the mind, will and emotions is not exempted from the redemptive power of Jesus as different patterns in the soul can be saved to align with the pattern Son's (Jesus) soul. However, every temperament should be renewed to the unique pattern that God wants it to have in Christ. Every person has a part of their soul that must be similar to Christ and some aspects that must alig...

Are Cartoons Still Safe?

Recently, there has been an outcry about some of the revelations coming out of Disney World. The world leading animation company has made it clear that she is deliberate at making cartoons for children that are non-binary and LGBTQ+. It caused many to cancel their subscription to the channel in a bid to protect their children. Like I have always said, if you're not aware that a war for the world is going on, you will always be a victim of the weapons that are launched into the space. The arts and entertainment is a powerful tool in the business of influence. Some days ago, I was at an ATM to withdraw. While waiting for my cash, my eyes flashed on the advert running on the machine. It's an entertainment show that would feature supernatural acts. I was glued by the headline which made me to read more. Then I saw that the gathering would have magic, contortion, daredevils, illusions etc. The devil is using every avenue to influence us towards unrighteousness. Movies, music, arts...

2023 Election: A Call To Stand

Recently, I was discussing with a friend concerning the coming general elections in Nigeria. I told him that there isn't going to be any surprise in the election as the next president is almost already determined. As I made that statement, I felt a sharp witness within me that I shoukd have said that. After the discussion, I decided to find out what the witness was all about. Nigerian election hardly lead to surprises, especially the presidential election so this makes a lot of people not to be interested in voting and even the entire process, but at this time, the Lord is calling for a different approach. Talking with the LORD, I found out that God has a plan for the presidential seat of Nigeria and He requires incense to be offered for the 'cup to be full' before His counsel can come to pass. This means that there is a need to pray for the will of God to come to pass. If you are a consistent follower of my writings, you'll know that I have said it in the past that God...

Prophetic Perspective

I think I may have written on this topic already, but I have a nudge in my heart to do this again. What is prophetic perspective? What is the importance of a prophetic perspective? How does prophetic perspective affect us? We live in a world that is fundamentally spiritual, but because the spiritual cannot be seen with the eyes of the flesh, it is often relegated to the secondary. Physical activities on earth are a result of spiritual permutations. Paul, the apostle, charged the Ephesian church to understand God's will and not walk in foolishness. He also charged the Corinthian church to pay attention to spiritual things than the physical. About a month ago, I was reading the book of Revelation. Those parts that talks about seals being opened and different horses riding into the earth to cause different things to happen. I wondered if we are going to see physical horses riding in the skies or on the land across countries, it then dawned on me that these are spiritual visions. Whe...
