Prophetic Perspective

I think I may have written on this topic already, but I have a nudge in my heart to do this again. What is prophetic perspective? What is the importance of a prophetic perspective? How does prophetic perspective affect us?

We live in a world that is fundamentally spiritual, but because the spiritual cannot be seen with the eyes of the flesh, it is often relegated to the secondary. Physical activities on earth are a result of spiritual permutations.

Paul, the apostle, charged the Ephesian church to understand God's will and not walk in foolishness. He also charged the Corinthian church to pay attention to spiritual things than the physical.

About a month ago, I was reading the book of Revelation. Those parts that talks about seals being opened and different horses riding into the earth to cause different things to happen. I wondered if we are going to see physical horses riding in the skies or on the land across countries, it then dawned on me that these are spiritual visions.

When these horses are riding in the spiritual, we will only see their effects in the natural. It is amazing how many can still ignore the bible in this times despite the world moving in the exact direction that the bible said it will move. I study the fulfillment of last days prophecies and I get stunned by the accuracy of the words written over 2000 years ago.

When an event happens, several professional will analyse it based on their knowledge. The political analyst, sociologist, educationist, scientists, financial analyst and many others will give their take on the event that happened and rightly so. However, we must know that as much as these people have perspectives to issues on earth, there is perspective that has gone ahead which is the spiritual.

The spiritual is always ahead of the physical. Before anything can happen in the physical, someone must have made it happen in the spiritual. Whether we are aware or not. The spiritual is superior to the physical and this is why you see highly placed people in the physical go after highly placed people in the spiritual. It's not religion. It's wisdom.

Spiritual perspective to an event helps us to know if the event came from God or the devil. If it is from God, we embrace it and if it is a devilish event, we stand against it. That's one of the duties of the church in this last days- to withstand the evil ones.

Spiritual perspective also help us to know what to do about situations. Individually, it gives you direction. Some people go to traditionalists to get spiritual perspective. We must know that it is not only God that is in the spiritual. There are demons too, so we must ensure that we pass though the right door- Jesus, if we want to see the Father.

Getting spiritual perspective to an event or situation simply requires you to ask from the Lord. 'If any man lack wisdom, let him ask...' Find out from His Spirit what really happened or what is really happening? Sometimes, events are not what they look like in the physical. Haman wanted to wipe out the Jews, but it was an interplay of prophecies right from the days of Moses that was actually happening.

Joseph read the situations of his life correctly. Mordecai saw beyond the physical. Moses saw the invisible. David knew that there is a king in the spiritual. For us to see correctly, we must trust God to help our sight and heart. We must be able to see as God sees, hear as God hears and know as God knows.

Oranmiyan (Part 3: Origin of Yoruba)

Our journey will begin by identifying who the Yoruba people are. From the stories and relics of the children of the tribe, it is obvious that the projenitors of the tribe were deeply rooted in sorcery. Especially those who constitute the royal families. Their blood lines is soaked in idolatry, divination and sorcery. They know how to access principalities and powers and learn their worship modes. There are many stories about the origin of the Yoruba race. The Yoruba race has two major stories about their origin. One is supernatural. The other is natural The supernatural or divine one said that the supreme being, God, sent a god- Obatala to come and create the earth, but he got drunk and God had to send another god- Oduduwa. This is what some people hold. This school of thought has several loopholes chief of which is that Oduduwa entered Ile Ife in 11AD, but Ife Arts, according to carbon dating goes way back as 500BC which means that there was life in Ile Ife before Oduduwa came in. Oranmiyan (Part 4: Lamurudu vs Oduduwa)

After being forced out of his land, Lamurudu settled in Egypt for some time where he deepened his knowledge in sorcery. He learned several patterns of rituals which still exists in some parts of Ijebu today. At that time, the Egyptians have developed so well in the worship of their gods who were originally men. The concept of gods begins with a man encountering a demonic prince who is looking for obeisance from men. These princes have the same goal as Lucifer. Once they begin to get attention from a man, the man begins to take up their (dark) nature because it is a law in the spirit realm that whatever you behold, you become. The consecration of these men to the worship of the princes led to the reproduction of the abilities and characteristics of the prince in the man, so the man becomes great among other men. Most of these men takes up the name of the prince that they worship such that when the man dies, you can keep calling his name and the prince responds to your request thereby es

Oranmiyan (Part 5: The gods of Egypt)

During the sojourn of Lamurudu in Egypt, what was going on in Egypt at that time was similar to what happened in Genesis 6:1-2 where demonic entities found a way to reproduce themselves in women to establish a race of beings that were not fully humans. These creatures were very big that they were called Giants. They had 6 fingers and toes and unusual strength. Bible refer to them as Nephilims which means mysterious beings who are large and strong. Some other meanings called them fallen ones. They had supernatural abilities and they preyed on full humans. The situation was like what was portrayed in Harry Potter that had pure bloods, half bloods, mud bloods and muggles. The pure bloods were the witches whose both parents are also witches, half blood is a witch with one parent as witch, mud blood has both parents as normal people and muggles are non witches. At that time in Genesis 6, the Nephilims had created another race on earth that paralleled the pure humans. This what why God sent
