2023 Election: A Call To Stand

Recently, I was discussing with a friend concerning the coming general elections in Nigeria. I told him that there isn't going to be any surprise in the election as the next president is almost already determined. As I made that statement, I felt a sharp witness within me that I shoukd have said that.

After the discussion, I decided to find out what the witness was all about. Nigerian election hardly lead to surprises, especially the presidential election so this makes a lot of people not to be interested in voting and even the entire process, but at this time, the Lord is calling for a different approach.

Talking with the LORD, I found out that God has a plan for the presidential seat of Nigeria and He requires incense to be offered for the 'cup to be full' before His counsel can come to pass. This means that there is a need to pray for the will of God to come to pass.

If you are a consistent follower of my writings, you'll know that I have said it in the past that God does not have a political party. He is not a Democrat neither is He a Republican. God is not a member of PDP or APC. He has His course that He is committed to. Anyone that aligns with His will is who He chooses.

His word to me was "pray for my David to emerge". Beautifully, I later heard this same word from some prophets in different parts of the country. Now, there have been a lot of game playing in the two major political parties. Already, we have Atiku, Saraki, Tambuwal, Woke and Peter Obi that have declared intention to run in PDP while Tinubu of the APC has also declared.

Who is the David? David in the bible was a man after God's heart whose reign as king recognised God as the ruler of the land and he was ruthless in establishing the plan of God in his times. This is not a call for someone who bears David, but some one who has a heart of David.

It is possible to have the person emerge in 2023 and that is why God wants to pray. Prayer enforces the will of God. If we will pray enough for 2023 elections, we will see the hand of God. Some people do not believe in praying for elections, but they believe in praying for God's will to come to pass in their lives. Very funny folks.

I charge anyone reading this post to begin to pray for the 2023 elections that God's plan will come to pass. I do not know who the David is at this time and you should know that it may not be one person. It could be a company of people from where the Lord will choose. Pray that the Davidic company will arise in our political sphere and authority will be given to them to move Nigeria in the path of Light.
