Gather Yourself Into Troops

Text: Mic 5:1 Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.

The last days is like a 2 edged sword. The two sides are very sharp and can cause things to happen. One side of the edge is the perilous times that would cause a lot of things to go from bad to worse in the 7 spheres of influence. Other aspects of the edge of this sword are wars, pestilences. Also on this edge of the sword, Paul, the apostle listed a number of attributes of the last days in 2TIm 3:1-5.

Paul was warning Timothy here about people who exhibit such characters in the church! The times have become so perilous today that a lot of people are falling away gradually into the world. We are in the times that many are already questioning their faith and exchanging it with the ideas and views of the world. We are seeing a falling away at an unprecedented rate in this world.

The LORD gave me a warning concerning 2023 that the rate at which people will fall away will be very high especially in Nigeria because 2023 is like a sharp bend. The LORD gave me the analogy of a bicycle race where a lot of cyclers are on a sharp bend. Many fall down at this point and they won't be able to continue the race again. This is what will happen to many in 2023.

This is not referring to their Christian race of ending up in heaven, but they won't be able to follow God at the pace at which He is moving and as such will not have a place in what God is doing on the earth. And yes, some may lose their faith in Christ totally. It is a perilous time.

After this word, I asked the LORD for the solution. First, to say it cannot happen to you is the first step in it happening to you, so you must be humble enough to find out what the LORD would have you do to escape the great tribulation to come. The reply of the LORD was "gather yourself into troops".

In the book of Micah, the prophet was talking about the things that will happen in the last days and he mentioned the gathering into troops. A troop is a group of soldier with a common goal or instruction. The LORD is counselling us to bind ourselves with people of the same mind; people who will ensure that you stay on course.

As it is, we have just 2022 to prepare ourselves and form these troops. In many Christian circles, the knowledge of God available is not sufficient to navigate the waters of 2023. So it is important that you find the people that can help you to stay awake in 2022. Gather yourself into troops.

During the sojourn of Lamurudu in Egypt, what was going on in Egypt at that time was similar to what happened in Genesis 6:1-2 where demonic entities found a way to reproduce themselves in women to establish a race of beings that were not fully humans.
