'A man that lives without discipline will die without honor' is my favourite quote of all times. This quote explains why I don't compromise discipline, no matter the ecstasy of the moment.
Olusola Femi Isaac popularly known as Ayanfeoluwa hails from oyan in Osun State, He gave his life to Christ on the 9th of may 2008 in an Holy Communion Service of the RCCG Northern Workers and Ministers Conference in Jos Plateau State. Prior to this time, he had been a church boy but the truth of the cross was not clear to him.
In 2009, he was admitted to SLT Dept of Federal Polytechnic Ede in Osun State, Southwest Nigeria to study Microbiology. He joined Gospel Students Fellowship on campus. In 2010, he became the bible study and Academic coordinator of the fellowship. In the year 2013 he became the fellowship President as well as the Joint Christian Campus Fellowship (JCCF) Bible Study Coordinator. Ayanfe enjoyed the faithfulness of God in combining the spiritual responsibilities with his academic obligations. On the 8th of August 2015, he was given an award for academic excellence award by the General Overseer of The Gospel Faith Mission International.
Ayanfeoluwami believes that the greatest investment in life is impacting others. By the grace of God, he has impacted many lives throughout his stay on campus & still does the same today and he has this to say about serving God:
"Serving God is really a great priviledge. I will encourage everyone to do with all of his/her might. Many challenges will surely come your way as you keep on this Christian journey. However, with the help of the Holy Spirit the challenges are just muscle builders.
A particular word from my fellowship's Zonal Coordinator then usually rings in my mind whenever I am experiencing trials and temptations. He said, “ Five years from now, will you not be falling victims of what you have preached against?”
I made a decision that day that, God helping me, I will maintain my stand. This has only been possible through the help of the holy spirit.
Many things will come to check your stand after you have graduated from school; things like pressure for jobs, future clarity, whom to marry, money and so on. It takes a man with understanding of the ways of God and not His acts only to stand like the three Hebrews no matter what the country's economy might be saying. During this time you may not be having prayer partners or studying partners. Many may not even believe your vision again.
What I usually do, which I will also like to recommend to those that are just joining us on the track is that I don’t joke with my study life. I listen to different messages and read a lot of books. A saying goes thus: if you don’t study, you will be stupid. So before life will come to try me with hard questions, I study the scriptures ahead. I also hold in high esteem, my personal fellowship with God and with the brethren.
Finally brethren, be like David who encouraged himself in the Lord. Maintain a good character, be in the company of godly people. Have a mentor because if you don’t have a father you may not see farther. Also, as much as it is in your capacity, try to help others.
