What Is The Time?


I have always wondered if really the times for the coming back of Jesus is completely sealed from everyone. The Sunday school taught us clearly that nobody knows the time that Jesus would come back to take His people away from this world. We were often told that He could appear this night or before you wake up the next day. It was a beautifully fearful reason to walk uprightly.

All that changed when I got to the University and my heart began to long for Jesus to come. Since then, I have heard several things about the coming of Jesus back again to this world.

My thought pattern changed from "Jesus can come any time o" to "Jesus is not coming now joor" to "Jesus is almost here", which I currently carry. There is a basis for all these thought patterns, but I prefer to hold on to the last one.

Two bible characters always puzzle me anytime I read or hear about them. They are Simeon and Anna. Quite unpopular in Sunday school. These two bible characters recognized a baby that was brought into the temple for some Jewish rites as the Messiah that the entire nation have been expecting for centuries! My question is how?

They had not seen any sign or wonder from the baby. He had not started talking, not to talk of teaching. Yet Simeon and Anna knew! They knew that this baby was the Christ and they worshipped God.

Are you thinking what I'm thinking? The story of Simeon and Anna showed that they have been watching in the temple for years; waiting for the coming Messiah. They were not surprised when they saw the baby Jesus. They were glad the Messiah had finally come.

Matthew 24 excites me these days. Jesus was teaching His disciples how they would recognize the end time. He taught a lot on how to recognize the time and season, but He decided the keep the day or hour to Himself. In other places, He rebuked the Pharisees for not understanding the times and season.

Jesus made it clear when He would be returning. He explained all the scenarios that would be happening at that time, He only kept back the day and hour. Isn't that amazing? I love the way The Message Bible translated Luke 12:56

Luke 12:56 [MSG] Frauds! You know how to tell a change in the weather, so don't tell me you can't tell a change in the season, the GOD-SEASON we're in right now.

What is the time?

After being forced out of his land, Lamurudu settled in Egypt for some time where he deepened his knowledge in sorcery. Oranmiyan (Part 5: The gods of Egypt)

During the sojourn of Lamurudu in Egypt, what was going on in Egypt at that time was similar to what happened in Genesis 6:1-2 where demonic entities found a way to reproduce themselves in women to establish a race of beings that were not fully humans. These creatures were very big that they were called Giants. They had 6 fingers and toes and unusual strength. Bible refer to them as Nephilims which means mysterious beings who are large and strong. Some other meanings called them fallen ones. They had supernatural abilities and they preyed on full humans. The situation was like what was portrayed in Harry Potter that had pure bloods, half bloods, mud bloods and muggles. The pure bloods were the witches whose both parents are also witches, half blood is a witch with one parent as witch, mud blood has both parents as normal people and muggles are non witches.
