Word For The 44th Week Of 2018

Topic: Witnesses, Leaders and Commanders Text: Isaiah 55:4 Behold, I have given him [for] a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people. Like I have always said, the times and season should dictate the posture of believers. In the bible days, the Jews have few iron equipments which is used for farming during the times of peace and for weapons during the times of war. So, when there is a trumpet sound for war, they quickly take their farming equipments to the smith to change it to weapons of war. Imagine a person who didn't hear the trumpet sound of war. The battle will meet him unprepared as all he would have will be farming equipments and not weapons. During the last weekend, I attended a program tagged Issachar Gathering. Issachar is a type of the believer that understands the times and season and also knows what to do. I attended the meeting to know what God is saying to us at this time. One important habit we must be doing in this last days is listening ...

The Joel Army 3

I believe that I have been able to establish to you what the Joel Army is, so I will move on to explain what the duty of this army will be in the last days. A very fascinating description of this army is what Prophet Joel mentions in the first sentence of the third verse of chapter two. I consider it fascinating because I have never seen any description like that in the bible used for a group of people. (Let me know if you have found any). It says that fire burns in front of them and a flame burns behind them. The temperature around these soldiers must be life threatening. Physically, no man can survive this kind of condition. Spiritually, it also has a connotation that fascinates. Fire was first mentioned in the bible when God wanted to judge Sodom and Gomorrah. It must have existed before that time, but the law of first mention in interpreting the bible certifies that fire is an instrument for judgment. This is consistent from the old testament to the new testament. Fire, ...

Nigeria In The Bible

As we approach another celebration of the independence of the nation Nigeria, I will like us to know some things about this nation that the LORD has shown me. If a man wants to know the details of God's will for his life, he would need to read the things that have been written or said about him by God. Prophecy is one of the ways that the will of God can be known. Prophecy is voicing God's will. This same principle applies to territories as territories also have a will established by God for them to fulfill. In the scriptures, we see details of many nations that existed in that time. Nations like Israel, Egypt, Syria, Edom, Philistine, Babylon and in the new testament, we saw countries like Italy and Spain which still exists till today. Most of the nations that were mentioned in the old testament bear a new name today. There were some nations mentioned in the old testament, but their names were not specified. God, through the prophets spoke about the destiny of some na...

Word For The 38th Week Of 2018

Topic: Love Text: 1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God We live in a time that the bible says that darkness will cover the earth and gross darkness will cover the people. This makes the quest for light to be so great and anyone that does not have light will stumble and fall. Bible says that our God is the father of light. Jesus said that He is the light of this world. If we would walk in light in this dark period, we must find God. God is the only route out of the darkness that seeks to take everyone and everything. However, as much as finding God is very important, we cannot find God unless we are walking on the pathway of love. God is love and if we will find God, we must be walking in love. If we would hear God clearly at this time, we must be walking in love. That is what will clear the waves of darkness and give us the chance to see the heart of God for whatever direction we need. W...

The Joel Army 2

One writing pattern I have learnt from Prophet Rick Joyner when writing about the details of the last days is not to be completely authoritative. We must all learn that we see in part and a sign that what you believe is wrong is when you refuse to subject it to scrutiny. I am aware that some circles of believers that I respect and still learn from do not believe that God is raising an army according to the writing of Prophet Joel in Joel 2:1-11. However, we agree that irrespective of the name we call the army, there is truly raising an army. The canon of scripture shows that some writings are directed at the natural Israel while some are directed towards the spiritual Israel. Historical books talk more about the natural Israel and it is for our learning while prophetic books point more to the spiritual Israel than the natural Israel. The book of Joel is one of such writings that points to the spiritual Israel- the church. Joel starts his book by describing the state of...

As the Jewish New Year Begins…

The Jewish nation is a nation founded by God when the descendants of Jacob left Egypt. The culture and laws were determined by God. God was the supreme leader of the Jews at that time so everything depended on Him. God gave these laws and cultural patterns to Moses and he (Moses) was instructed to build and establish things according to a pattern that God showed him on the mountain. The intention of God was clear: “Your kingdom come, Your will be done on the earth as it is in heaven” (Matt 6:10). So the natural Israel was created for us to understand how things ought to be. Everything that God established in the natural Israel is a type of what truly exists in the spiritual Israel. The calendar that was given to the Jews by God is different from the calendar that we use today. It has 12 months too, but it is not according to our January to December of the Roman calendar that we use today. Their new year starts in September and ends in August. However, the bible translation to En...

The Joel Army

The bible is full of several prophecies about the last days or the end times. The church is familiar with what covers just half of the prophecies. The other half have not been taught so well in many churches. Perhaps, this is the work of the devil in keeping us from knowing the truth. The prophecies in the bible about the last days are two fold. It is like a sword that has two edges. One edge is what we know as the terrible things that will happen. Things like wars, earthquakes, disease outbreaks and christian conditions like reduced love for God, apostasy and many more. These are certainly true, but that is not all about the last days. The bible also talked about prophecies of the church becoming really great in the last days. Maybe our little knowledge of the books we refer to as minor prophets in the bible is responsible for this, I cannot say. But if we will fulfill our calling as sons of God, we must understand the whole scripture. The bible talks about a group of people...
