Around that same period, I had to minister on the topic- Light in a school. I found something new at that time. I discovered that the sun and the moon were created firstly for signs in the heavens before the measurement of time. Studying further, the Holy Spirit in the book of Joel said that in the last days, the sun and the moon will lose their light which means some signs will be missing in the heavens. Islam has a lot of ties with the moon and that year, they had challenges in 'seeing the moon' which was needed for the celebration of a very important festival.
I didn't have a good understanding of these things, but I kept them in my heart. My study in recent times has connected all the dots. Dan Fodio had a dream towards the end of his life where a person appeared to him and told him that "the kingdom you have spilled so much blood to build will not last for more than 200 years". This dream was mysterious to Dan Fodio that he had to call for people who can interpret it to him.
This story has a parallel in the bible. At the time when the kingdom of Babylon was flourishing, he suddenly met a watcher in his dream who made a pronouncement about his kingdom. Nebuchadnezzar could not interpret the dream by himself, so had to call for help. I believe that this was exactly what happened to Dan Fodio. Towards the end of his life, he withdrew from fighting and spent more time alone which led to more writings and encounters with the spirit world. Like I mentioned earlier, he was a man who had many dreams- just like Nebuchadnezzar.
When I first saw this prophecy on a website, I doubted its credibility. Then I did my own research and I discovered that it is actually an open secret. A man wrote about it in a national daily in Nigeria some years back and there were other sources of this same prophecy. From my own watches, the prophecy which happened around 1815 to 1817 coincided with the revelations I have had earlier. No prophecy is of private interpretation, so I put it to you to judge also.
The words of the prophecy explains some of the occurrences we have had in Nigeria in the last 2 years. The Fulani elites knows about this prophecy and they are desperate to making sure that it does not come to pass. So, they are making all efforts to hold on to Nigeria because a second part of the prophecy says that "your children will beg to visit the southern part of the places where you have conquered". Take note that Nigeria was not yet formed at that time.
From the first day of 2018, Fulani herdsmen have been killing and it continued till the end of that year. The latest time that the prophecy would have been pronounced was 1817, so 200 years from that time would be 2017. The truth is this- legally, the bands of the spirit that sponsored Jihad in Nigeria has been taken away. We are now free from all the realities of that captivity, but the enemy will never let his captive go without a fight. The call for Fulani colony in all the states of Nigeria is a bid to hold on to what the prophecy said is no longer theirs.
From that same 2017, many believers began to rise up as territorial watchmen in the land and the alignment of the heavenly host began to gather momentum. I recall very well that it was that same year that I had visitations from saints and saw many Angels. Nigeria is on a new plane. The realities of Nigeria is changing from what we used to know. The Lord is rolling back the hands of the wicked and exalting righteousness.
Now is not the time to be discouraged about Nigeria. This time is actually the time we are meant to pray to enforce the word of the Lord over Nigeria. I have one more article in this series. It will offend many people, but it's the gospel of the kingdom. We have to preach it!
