Meditation: My How

I have an habit that started when I was in final year. My parents have complained severally about it, but I couldn't stop it because I found so much pleasure in it. I do it whenever I'm alone because I really don't want anyone to see me when I am in it. Although, I often get caught.

At times, my mum would call me aside and ask me why I am always do it, but I would just smile. She believes that it is not a good thing to do as a Yoruba person. Recently, I heard that some pastors also do this thing.

Did I hear you say are we still brethren? Relax! Tap your heart and say all iz well 3 times. We are still brethren. Oya, let me confess.

Anytime I pick up a bubbling word in my heart or when I get an invitation to preach in a place, I do rehearsals. After family night devotion, I would pick up my bible and start doing drama. I would firstly play the role of the host of a church and invite me and my humble self (....lol) to collect the microphone from the host.

Then I would start preaching. Tell the crowd of empty chairs to open their bibles to the book of so and so. I would preach, at times for the next two hours. I would even get people baptized in the Holy Spirit and do miracles. It has never been a dull meeting...lol

Whenever I hear footsteps, I switch to prayer till the person goes back into the room, then I tell the 'brethren', 'as I was saying...'. I sometimes do this on the road and in the toilet...lol. In fact, I have preached more messages to empty chairs than I have to humans.

As hilarious and awkward it may sound to be preaching to empty chairs in the sitting room, the words that I speak during this 'pseudo-sermons' are very powerful and fresh from heaven. Many verses of the bible open to me while doing this thing so much that when I get humans to talk to, I use this same words that come from the 'pseudo-sermons' and testimonies abound.

It's called meditation! My parents couldn't understand why I would be talking to myself almost anytime I am alone. It's my way of digging the scriptures. Attimes, when I am about to start, I may not know what I would say, but I would say things that surprise me for two hours. Record the message and you will be shocked when listening.

I encourage you to preach to the empty chairs of your sitting room too. Share the word of the Lord with them. Lay hands of them. Give them word of knowledge. You're stirring the gifts within you!

This is a faith forecast, it reminds me of Pastor Adeyemi's story of how he went into a n empty hall in Lagos and preached to empty chairs. The truth is that, he has seen those act manifested in reality. It's an awesome things to do.

Prophetic Perspective: Israel vs Iran

The middle east situation between Israel and Palestine is a very complex one that can be viewed from many sides. Whichever perspective you choose, there will always be an unresolved issue. It is exactly a year that Hamas, a terrorist group in Palestine, dealt the biggest blow ever to the Israeli state, killing over 1000 Jews and abducting about 251. It sent a shock wave round the world. The October 7, 2023 attacks kick-started a war that has escalated to involve Lebanon, Syria, Qatar and Iran. Israel has gone all out attacking Palestine in a wave that many world leaders have been cautioning them to consider the civilians. ORIGIN OF THE WAR The origin of the war in the middle east can be traced back to the 1920s when Britain, in conjunction with the Arabs defeated the Ottoman military in Jerusalem and took the city as a colony of the British royalty.  It wasn't long before the British decided to release the land to the Arabs that fought alongside them. But, there was another set of ...

Nigeria In The Bible

As we approach another celebration of the independence of the nation Nigeria, I will like us to know some things about this nation that the LORD has shown me. If a man wants to know the details of God's will for his life, he would need to read the things that have been written or said about him by God. Prophecy is one of the ways that the will of God can be known. Prophecy is voicing God's will. This same principle applies to territories as territories also have a will established by God for them to fulfill. In the scriptures, we see details of many nations that existed in that time. Nations like Israel, Egypt, Syria, Edom, Philistine, Babylon and in the new testament, we saw countries like Italy and Spain which still exists till today. Most of the nations that were mentioned in the old testament bear a new name today. There were some nations mentioned in the old testament, but their names were not specified. God, through the prophets spoke about the destiny of some na...

Nine Years As A Scribe

So, last night, I was meditating about the things that God is doing in this times and it dawned on me that we are in a period where our minds are being bombarded with images, video and text. We are in the greatest period of media height. Everywhere you turn, you see something waiting for your mind to feed on. You're not free at any point in time from the floods coming from the various platforms. Majority of the contents in recent years are immoral and the cry for biblically sound and creative content has been going on for some years. Thank God for the success that we have recorded in the past few years. The media is being used to project several images into our minds. I did a small social experiment last month. I was speaking to a group of young boys in a school about Bobrisky. I asked how many of them would like to be like him and no one raised hand. Then I changed the question and said that if I tell you that I would give you 1 million every month and all I want from you is to be...
