Why Are We Still Here?...Part 1

When I was in 300L, the Brothers' Unit of my fellowship organized a program and the theme for the meeting was "Building According to Pattern". It was the president of our fellowship that ministered at the program. The attendance was quite low, but what we learnt that day never left me.

The president talked about the seven nations that the Lord told Joshua and the Israelites to drive out of the promised land. These seven nations were already established in the land, but the Lord gave the Israelites the task to completely wipe them out and establish the nation of Israel.

He said that these 7 nations signified what he referred to as 'The Seven Gates of Influence' and they signify the seven areas that God is raising up men in this days from the church. These men are meant to 'take over' the established nations just like the days of Joshua.

The Brothers' Unit was known as a route through which the brothers of the fellowship learn more about God's purpose for their life. So, my president listed the what the seven nations typifies for us and he said that God is raising us all in either one, two, three or more.

The message that day was a mystery to me as I didn't understand what he was saying. It was a very distant rocket science to me at that time, but I never forgot. The message sparkled a hunger in me to know the purpose of the church at this end time.

Presently, I have a greater measure of the understanding of the "Seven Gates of Influence". I know that it is the will of God for the church to take over the 7 Gates, however I find out that a lot of Christians do not believe it.

The picture is just like that of the 12 spies that went to check out these same 7 nations during the days of Moses. 10 said it is impossible while 2 said that the Lord has taken it for us already.

I believe that God wants the church to take over the 7 Gates of Influence and establish a new culture over these lands. Several ideas will come to Christians these days that will make us the head and not the tail, just like it was prophesied!

I believe I will still write more on this topic; stay tuned. Don't be part of the 10 spies; we can take the land! May the Lord keep you, amen

Prophetic Perspective: Israel vs Iran

The middle east situation between Israel and Palestine is a very complex one that can be viewed from many sides. Whichever perspective you choose, there will always be an unresolved issue. It is exactly a year that Hamas, a terrorist group in Palestine, dealt the biggest blow ever to the Israeli state, killing over 1000 Jews and abducting about 251. It sent a shock wave round the world. The October 7, 2023 attacks kick-started a war that has escalated to involve Lebanon, Syria, Qatar and Iran. Israel has gone all out attacking Palestine in a wave that many world leaders have been cautioning them to consider the civilians. ORIGIN OF THE WAR The origin of the war in the middle east can be traced back to the 1920s when Britain, in conjunction with the Arabs defeated the Ottoman military in Jerusalem and took the city as a colony of the British royalty.  It wasn't long before the British decided to release the land to the Arabs that fought alongside them. But, there was another set of ...

Can You See Islam Imploding?

Islam has taken a major stage in the world today, with many western nations trying to find their feet in the face of millions of immigrants from Islamic nations. Several European countries are losing their own culture as the Islamic wave is taking over their lands already. While in Africa, nations are embroiled in Islam related conflicts that is claiming lives in millions. In many places, Muslims have become citizens and are beginning to contest for political offices. The current mayor of London is a Muslim. Same with the current mayor of New York. Scotland already had a Muslim PM. You see, there is no issue with a Muslim becoming a political leader other than the fact that true Muslims are territorial; their religion teaches them that the religion of the ruler is the religion of the land. Is this Islamophobia? Wait. What is Islamophobia? Why should anyone be Islamophobic? Is it because terrorists are Muslims? Or because Muslims threaten to slaughter anyone who slanders their religion?...

Seven Years In Christ- Friends

After an official meeting with executives of tacsfonOAU When I resumed for the second year in college, I saw a result of the previous year and it was 39%. I couldn't believe what I saw because it was definitely not commensurate with my efforts. I wept quite bitterly and promised God that He wouldn't see me around any of His assignments again. I just joined a subgroup in my fellowship and I expected that my results will be better because of the several testimonies that I have heard from people. As I was weeping, God directed three friends to visit the spot where I was weeping. It was a miracle that I wouldn't forget. They consoled me and encouraged me to take a step of checking the result with the coordinator of the course. Eventually, my result was changed to 62%. This is one of the many times that the Lord has used brothers and sisters around me to stabilize me and keep me in line with His purpose. The role they have played in my last 7 years cannot be written in ...
