The old testament gives us a picture of the things that exist in the spiritual realm.
Jewish tools or symbols are a picture of what is available to believers in the spiritual realm.
For example, the Shofar, referred to in KJV as a trumpet, is a ram's horn that is used to make announcements.
It started in the days of Moses where the Shofar was used to announce the arrival of God's presence on Sinai
When the Jews hear the Shofar, it could be a summoning to worship, a feast or a call for war.
In this testament, we send out announcement in personal and corporate prayers and/or worship.
For example, when you pray for more intercessors to arise, someone can literarily hear a voice or feel a tap to wake up to pray.
Your sound (not your voice) is like a shofar in the spirit. When you pray (especially when making a decree), the reach of your sound is just like the workings of the shofar.
Don't confuse the reach of your sound with the loudness of your voice. You may need to shout to release a sound, but shouting does not equal to a spirit sound.
Just like Israel hears the sound of the shofar, a spirit sound can be heard in the spirit realm and the instructions coming from the sound will be heard by spirit beings.
The sound you release (which is directly proportional to your spiritual rank) can announce a thing and cause people to take up a spiritual posture.
See this:
Joel 3:9-11:
Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up: Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I [am] strong. Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD.
This is an instruction that is still relevant today. However, blowing a ram's horn as a believer today will not achieve that verse as it does not translate into releasing a spirit sound.
You won't do this by posters, banners or running an ad on Facebook too. You will engage your spirit sound. You blow your shofar.
Seek to increase the reach of your spirit sound by following the LORD in obedience, fellowship and sacrifice.
