The battle to own this world ought to be glaring to every man, but the devil has hid himself behind several thought patterns. An example is religious intolerance. This is the major route through which the devil used to effectively send the influence of God out of the educational system in the world.
The educational system is basic to the value system of a society as the values are built into the next generation using the school. The devil was stealth enough to introduce religious intolerance to break the stronghold of the influence of God in the schools which had existed for decades. Students with other faiths began to get uncomfortable with the truth of God's word as projected by their colleagues and this led to a series of court cases in many countries.
Europe and North America were the first to be bit by this terrible wave that swept prayers and bible readings out of Colleges (Universities) and High (Secondary) schools. The battle was fierce in USA as several parts of the country held differing opinions until the Supreme Court gave an order 56 years ago under the First Amendment. In Canada, it is referred to as Freedom of Conscience. Despite no law in UK, the apostasy in the land has taken over the schools as over 80% of the public schools do not have any prayer times.
When light is kicked out of a place, darkness needs no invitation before coming in. In the bible, the Perizzites were one of the nations meant to be wiped out by the Israelites. They were a people who were lazy, undisciplined, lacked vision, had low self-esteem and unrestricted. These are the ills that face the educational system all over the world today.
The Western world has made a wreck of the system as they have built a system that produces a people without restrictions and discipline. The developing nations produced a people without vision and with low self-esteem. As we battle these ills, we find ourselves pushing away every form of God that seeks to help us.
Developing nations like Nigeria and Rwanda have banned what they refer to as religious activities in the schools in many Christian dominated regions. We have now opened our school gates for darkness to run its full course. Cultism, drug abuse and rape have began to show up in High schools.
As God's men tries to erect God's influence in the schools, the devil comes with a counter attack. The good news, however is that the devil has not been able to stop all the plans of God in the western world schools as many church clubs have been established, recruiting evangelists among the students. In Africa, the glory of God is growing rapidly in the schools as students are having encounters with the tangible undeniable presence of God and yielding to Him!
Cindy Jacobs, an American prophetess gave that direction from the LORD in 2002 in Argentina about Nigerian schools and the result have been tremendous. The more we press, the more results we will see!
