I was reading a book by Rick Joyner sometimes ago and he said in the book that 'most Christians don't believe that Jesus resurrected'. I immediately said to myself that that must be a typographical error. But when I read the next sentence in the book, he said that when he first saw that statement in one of the writings of Charles Spurgeon, he also said that it must be a typographical error, but the Holy Spirit told him that it is not an error. That made him to meditate on the statement much more. In his meditation, he saw that Christians only have a mental agreement with the resurrection of Jesus, but they do not have faith in it.
That part of the book made me consider the truths we call the basis of christianity which are the virgin birth of Jesus, the deity of Jesus, the life and ministry of Jesus on the earth, the death and resurrection of Jesus and the coming back of Jesus to take away His ecclesia. All these have implications and only those who take actions according to these truths actually believe and not just those who agree.
Early this month, I was waiting on the LORD when the Holy Spirit told me that 'He wants me to join in a battle in the heavens'. I felt taken aback by this statement because my thought of any form of battle is for it to happen 7 years after the catching away of believers at the last trump. Which is what is referred to as the war of Armageddon.
That night, the LORD showed me a very 'interesting' vision. I saw the skies rumbling in a great manner. It was as if the skies were shaking. Rainbows that do not have any color were appearing and disappearing in the clouds. It was as if the rainbows were trying to catch the attention of those of us looking at the skies. The arcs were longer than the usual rainbow. Suddenly, I saw the clouds rush into the earth like a 'mighty rushing wind'. It was as if the clouds melted and poured into the earth.
I woke up from this strange vision with a knowing that the dream is a continuation of the discussion I had with the LORD earlier in the day. I have gone into several studies after that time and the Holy Spirit has been very gracious to me. I am indeed very grateful.
In my studies, I discovered that most believers do not actually believe that Jesus is coming back soon. Also, we do not know that there is a battle in the heavens for the nations that is going on presently. There is a war going on over the nations at the time, but the enemy in his craftiness has made us give the battle several other names.
This series, like every other one, is for believers. The aim is to open your eyes to see how much perilous this last days truly are, and how much you need to prioritize spiritual growth so that you will be useful for Jesus. The title is: The Reality Of Armageddon.
