The Reality of Armageddon 2

From the days of Adam, the devil has been looking for means of establishing his wish upon the face of the recreated earth. It was this that pushed him to tempt the first family, who were in charge of the earth, to take the authority of the earth.

Psalm 115:16 showed that the legal authority on the earth is man, but the devil stole this authority from man in the garden of Eden. This grieved God as His plan for the earth is 'thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven'. So, right from Genesis, we see two agenda for the earth. One from God through man and the other through the devil.

God began to devise means through which He will restore man back to the place of authority, but the devil has always created holes in the plans of God for man because God would not intrude the earth except a man is involved. So God has to wait upon a man before His can appear on the earth. It must be noted that God is not the one in direct battle with the devil. That would be very blasphemous. The battle for the earth is between the man whose will is aligned with God and the devil.

Over the years, the events on the earth have been as a result of the victories and set backs in the battle for the earth. This earth is a spiritual realm and nothing happens in the physical without a corresponding pre-occurrence in the spiritual.

We have many names for the effect of the battle on mankind and this is because of our eyes that are not often opened to see the activities going on over us. The devil is like a snake. His strength lies in not being seen. When a snake is in a room, it's aim is to remain unseen, but the day it is discovered, death will surely meet it. The devil hides behind all kinds of things to make sure that his wish for the earth prevails over the will of God through man that is aligned with God.

So, the products of the battle have led to things we define as civilization, modernization, events, trends and all. There is nothing on the earth that is not from the battle. As such, everything on the earth right now are products of spiritual transactions. There are only two sides.

Armageddon is a battle that will take place when Jesus returns to the earth with His saints as declared in the book of Revelations. It's the final battle for the earth. It is called final because there have been many other battles for the earth before that battle.

I hope that this series will make you see that there is a battle over the nations even at this time. I will be picking different sectors of life and by the grace and mercy of God, show you how the battle has led to events in that sector. In the little study that I have done so far, I have been amazed at the revelations! Stay Tuned!

Our journey will begin by identifying who the Yoruba people are. From the stories and relics of the children of the tribe, it is obvious that the projenitors of the tribe were deeply rooted in sorcery. Especially those who constitute the royal families. After being forced out of his land, Lamurudu settled in Egypt for some time where he deepened his knowledge in sorcery. He learned several patterns of rituals which still exists in some parts of Ijebu today. At that time, the Egyptians have developed so well in the worship of their gods who were originally men. The concept of gods begins with a man encountering a demonic prince who is looking for obeisance from men. These princes have the same goal as Lucifer. Once they begin to get attention from a man, the man begins to take up their (dark) nature because it is a law in the spirit realm that whatever you behold, you become. The consecration of these men to the worship of the princes led to the reproduction of the abilities and characteristics of the prince in the man, so the man becomes great among other men. Oranmiyan (Part 5: The gods of Egypt)

During the sojourn of Lamurudu in Egypt, what was going on in Egypt at that time was similar to what happened in Genesis 6:1-2 where demonic entities found a way to reproduce themselves in women to establish a race of beings that were not fully humans. These creatures were very big that they were called Giants. They had 6 fingers and toes and unusual strength. Bible refer to them as Nephilims which means mysterious beings who are large and strong. Some other meanings called them fallen ones. They had supernatural abilities and they preyed on full humans. The situation was like what was portrayed in Harry Potter that had pure bloods, half bloods, mud bloods and muggles. The pure bloods were the witches whose both parents are also witches, half blood is a witch with one parent as witch, mud blood has both parents as normal people and muggles are non witches.
