Word For The 26th Week Of 2018

Topic: Purpose and Destiny Text: Romans 8:30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. It is no longer news that we are in the last days of this age and this must affect the way we live our lives because the bible tells us that this period is different from what we are used to. One of the ways of wisdom that we must apply our hearts to is God's purpose and destiny for man. Our God does everything He does in sequence with an end point in mind. In other words, God has a purpose and destiny for everything He created. Man also has a purpose and destiny in God. Purpose is different from destiny, but they are interlocking. Our destiny is simply our destination I.e. where we will end the entire race. Our destination is not heaven, but the bossom of God. However, heaven is an important junction in our journey. Where God wants every man to end is inside of Him. Heaven will pass awa...

Word For The 25th Week Of 2018

Topic: Watch and Pray Text: Mark 14:38 Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed [is] willing, but the flesh [is] weak." One of the instructions of our LORD to us is to watch and pray. This is one of the most essential instruction to us in this last days where prophecies are being fulfilled. Several prophecies have been foretold about the times that we are living in and the dynamics of the fulfillment of prophecies require us to watch and pray. Daniel, during his days practicalized this instruction when he began to read the prophecies of Jeremiah about the times he was living. He discovered that there was a word from the LORD that ought to have been fulfilled, so he began to fast and pray. The process of checking prophecies and making sure that the counsel of the LORD is being established in the land is what is referred to as watching. In Daniel 4, we see the action of a watcher (which could be an angel or a man) making decrees that it must be ...

Word For The 24th Week Of 2018

Topic: Evangelism Text: Romans 10:8 But what does it say? [ "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart"](that is, the word of faith which we preach): This week, the LORD will have us engage in personal evangelism. The heart beat of God remains that men will be saved and they would come to the knowledge of the truth. At this time of life, many are on the brink of ending up in hell as the coming of our LORD is close. Moreover, the devil is using all means to get people away from this earth by death using all sort of diseases and events that is leading to death. As much as we are not led by these sad occurrences, we must not neglect our duty of evangelizing the world. We are the only ones on this earth that can preach the word of faith and we must engage actively in it this time. I urge you to go out of your way to preach the word to unbelievers at this time. "He that wins a soul is wise!" Have a great week The Coming Of The Lord Is Near ...

Word For The 23rd Week Of 2018

Topic: Leaning On Her Beloved Text: Song of Solomon 8:5 Who [is] this coming up from the wilderness, Leaning upon her beloved? I awakened you under the apple tree. There your mother brought you forth; There she [who] bore you brought [you] forth. I came across this verse of the bible in 300L when I read a material by Pastor Mick Bickle of the International House Of Prayer. Since then, the scripture has stayed with me and while I prayed this morning, the LORD brought it back to me as the word for this week. The verse explains a scene where a woman, leaning upon her husband whom she loves, is coming out of the wilderness. The woman signifies the bride of Christ which we are and the beloved is our Jesus. The wilderness in the bible signifies a place of unpleasant experiences where you are tested and made to grow into a particular posture. This scripture is very reassuring as we can now see that the LORD Himself is aware of our many struggles and He is not just aware, but He is...
