Topic: Eternal Purpose Of God

Text: Ephesians 3:10-11 to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly [places,] according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord,

Its a new week already and the time of life is passing away gradually. The time set for this age is reducing as we move closer to the coming of our Lord. It is a very exciting time with a lot of events happening.

Paul talked about this present dispensation in Ephesians chapter 3 and he made bare the purpose of God for this time. As the age rounds up, we need to begin to evaluate how much this purpose has been achieved in and through us. Although, it is beyond what can be done in a man, we all have a place in it.

The purpose of God for this dispensation of Grace is for God to reveal Himself to the principalities and powers in the heavens by the church. It means that the principalities and powers are learning about God from us.

From our text, we see that they are specifically learning the manifold wisdom of God from us. Another version says the many sided wisdom of God. This is the purpose of God for this time and we are right at the center.

I urge you to always seek for the wisdom of God in everything you do so as to play your part in the revelation of God's wisdom. James said if we lack wisdom, we should ask and we will be given. So, ask!

Our journey will begin by identifying who the Yoruba people are. From the stories and relics of the children of the tribe, it is obvious that the projenitors of the tribe were deeply rooted in sorcery. Especially those who constitute the royal families. During the sojourn of Lamurudu in Egypt, what was going on in Egypt at that time was similar to what happened in Genesis 6:1-2 where demonic entities found a way to reproduce themselves in women to establish a race of beings that were not fully humans. These creatures were very big that they were called Giants. They had 6 fingers and toes and unusual strength. Bible refer to them as Nephilims which means mysterious beings who are large and strong. Some other meanings called them fallen ones. They had supernatural abilities and they preyed on full humans. The situation was like what was portrayed in Harry Potter that had pure bloods, half bloods, mud bloods and muggles. The pure bloods were the witches whose both parents are also witches, half blood is a witch with one parent as witch, mud blood has both parents as normal people and muggles are non witches.
