Topic: Understanding The Last Days

Text: 1 Peter 4:7 But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.

This is the 12th week of this year and 12 is a very significant figure in the spirit. It signifies perfect government. At this time, we must be conscious of the government of God in the earth as time ticks to a close.

Our God works with time which means that He has a particular thing He does at every point in time (Ecc 3:1). He is very strategic in His purpose for the earth as time passes. It is very important that we know what the time says according to God's plan so that we do not walk against the counsel of the Lord.

The Jews didn't know that the Christ they were expecting was already in their midst, so they began to walk against the counsel of God on the earth while Simeon and Anna had seen even when Jesus was 8 days old. Several people are walking against the counsel of God for their life because they don't know what the time says.

We live in a time described as the last days. It is very important that we know what this time calls for. It is not like any other time in the history of this earth. It is indeed, a different hour in the entire time of this earth. As much as it is very glorious to be alive at this time, it is also important that we know that this time calls for us to be serious and watchful.

The Holy Spirit admonishes us to be serious in this last days. The word 'serious' means to be sober. This doesn't mean that we should be looking sad, but it means that we should walk like an animal living in the north pole. Animals there walk very carefully so as not to fall into water covered by ice. They test every step before they rest the weight of their body on it.

I urge you to be patient in waiting on the Lord to lead you before you take any step at this time. So many principles that have always worked are beginning to crumble. Trust in Lord alone.

During the sojourn of Lamurudu in Egypt, what was going on in Egypt at that time was similar to what happened in Genesis 6:1-2 where demonic entities found a way to reproduce themselves in women to establish a race of beings that were not fully humans.
