When I Used To Be Vibrant- Bolaji Ifeoluwa

My name is Bolaji Ifeoluwa O. I graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University in May 2016 and i was opportune to serve as the *sister's coordinator* of my fellowship (The Apostolic Church Student Fellowship of Nigeria). Serving God in that capacity twice opened up my mind to some essential routine requisite for consistent spiritual growth. All of which I still engage in till date.

To keep myself alligned with God, firstly I ensure I pray daily, mind you not necessarily a long hour prayer like 10/12hrs (*smiles*) but I make sure my heart is always conversing with Him with my thoughts, I do "funny things" like asking how He wants my day to go and other seemly things. Hope you aren't wondering if I get responses because I do.
Secondly, I read books and listen to messages which makes me stay focused and keeps me in check.

Lastly, reading write-ups from mentors- men I respect and trust the grace of God upon their lives. This gives more light into certain issues and less I forget, interceding for others whether I get promptings or not is my source of strength.

I am not good at attending conferences, seminars, talks but if you are, that's good, it will help you keep the fire burning also.

Before I drop my pen, continuous and consistent spiritual growth after campus may seem difficult because majority enjoy corporate anointing and fellowship with little or no personal encounters or altars burning for the Lord.

However dear one, you can do better, take a step at a time, engage yourself more in that spiritual activity you love best, I love singing although my voice is... but that helps me commune with God, words and thoughts drop through it. Also, you can get a friend you are sure of his/her stand to help, you both can fix dates to pray and read the word.

Don't wait until you need something or you are in trouble before you take a step. Ask him a question today and you will be surprised at the answer you get, *do it!*.
I hope this helps someone.

Thanks

Prophetic Perspective: Israel vs Iran

The middle east situation between Israel and Palestine is a very complex one that can be viewed from many sides. Whichever perspective you choose, there will always be an unresolved issue. It is exactly a year that Hamas, a terrorist group in Palestine, dealt the biggest blow ever to the Israeli state, killing over 1000 Jews and abducting about 251. It sent a shock wave round the world. The October 7, 2023 attacks kick-started a war that has escalated to involve Lebanon, Syria, Qatar and Iran. Israel has gone all out attacking Palestine in a wave that many world leaders have been cautioning them to consider the civilians. ORIGIN OF THE WAR The origin of the war in the middle east can be traced back to the 1920s when Britain, in conjunction with the Arabs defeated the Ottoman military in Jerusalem and took the city as a colony of the British royalty.  It wasn't long before the British decided to release the land to the Arabs that fought alongside them. But, there was another set of ...

Nigeria In The Bible

As we approach another celebration of the independence of the nation Nigeria, I will like us to know some things about this nation that the LORD has shown me. If a man wants to know the details of God's will for his life, he would need to read the things that have been written or said about him by God. Prophecy is one of the ways that the will of God can be known. Prophecy is voicing God's will. This same principle applies to territories as territories also have a will established by God for them to fulfill. In the scriptures, we see details of many nations that existed in that time. Nations like Israel, Egypt, Syria, Edom, Philistine, Babylon and in the new testament, we saw countries like Italy and Spain which still exists till today. Most of the nations that were mentioned in the old testament bear a new name today. There were some nations mentioned in the old testament, but their names were not specified. God, through the prophets spoke about the destiny of some na...

Nine Years As A Scribe

So, last night, I was meditating about the things that God is doing in this times and it dawned on me that we are in a period where our minds are being bombarded with images, video and text. We are in the greatest period of media height. Everywhere you turn, you see something waiting for your mind to feed on. You're not free at any point in time from the floods coming from the various platforms. Majority of the contents in recent years are immoral and the cry for biblically sound and creative content has been going on for some years. Thank God for the success that we have recorded in the past few years. The media is being used to project several images into our minds. I did a small social experiment last month. I was speaking to a group of young boys in a school about Bobrisky. I asked how many of them would like to be like him and no one raised hand. Then I changed the question and said that if I tell you that I would give you 1 million every month and all I want from you is to be...
