June 12 is not a normal day in the history of Nigeria, especially the South western part of the nation. The day represents political unrest, cheating and all manners of things that surround political crises in the land. What really happened on June 12?
After Nigeria's independence, the democratic government was toppled by soldiers in 1966, democratic elections did not hold until 1979 when Shehu Shagari became president. Another election was conducted in 1983, but did not last because the military came back to take power. From 1983 till 1993, no election held. It was in that 1993 that the head of state, Ibrahim Babangida conducted an election which MKO Abiola was believed to have won, however, General Babangida cancelled the election. That election held on June 12, 1993.
That is the first time June 12 became a notable date in Nigeria. A lot of people believed that the man MKO Abiola would have been a great president, but prophetic intelligence shows otherwise. There is a location portal in Ibadan called Oritamefa. There is a historic Baptist Church in that junction. Prior to that election, some men of God who had access to the prophetic intelligence resisted the ascension of MKO Abiola to power in prayers. As you would know, Ibadan is a national gate which means that you can make decrees over Nigeria from Ibadan. It was the prayers of these men that led to the cancelling of that election.
Since then, the media has immortalized June 12 and it moved from a day to remember to a day of violence and presently, the date is the democracy day of the nation.
What the men who prayed at O.B.C in 1993 saw was a reality that would take Nigeria off the course of her prophetic destiny. The same is being pushed today. June 12 has become a demonic time portal for violence and demonic structures to be pushed in Nigeria and that is why this government, whose alliance many times have been demonic, pushed the date into the limelight again.
This is why it is imperative to pray again 'the spirit of June 12' which is referring to the reality that is being pushed by the dark world into Nigeria. June 12 is a date that we will continue to have on the calendar, but we can stop the reality that is being pushed into Nigeria on that date.
