Are You Having Dreams?

In the last 24 hours, three friends contacted me about profound dreams they had in recent times. The dreams were instructive about life, career, ministry and Nigeria. I am very jealous for the voice of the Father. In the mouth of two or three…

Whenever I hear that people are having spectacular experiences, I always put up my radar for more of God, however, I am very careful to not seek spectacular experiences like dreams, rather, I spend more time in the word and listening to messages in times like this because there is grave danger in seeking the spectacular.

In 2011 till the end of 2012, I had a flood of dreams. It was so much that whenever I close my eyes, I would start seeing things. I even had to get a different journal to chronicle the dreams. At a point, however, I had to seek counsel from the president of my campus fellowship. He looked at my journal; read a few of the dreams and made it clear that the dreams all had the same meaning- COME CLOSER!

He made it clear to me how that God is seeking for my attention. He wants fellowship. It dawned on me then that I the reason for the spectacular is invite me to sit at His feet. When I got that message, I took the study of the word seriously!

So, if you have been getting dreams in this times, I enjoin you to pay more attention to the word. We live in a time when many dimensions of the Spirit is opening up to us, but we must not forget that Jesus remains the door! I have seen many books about portals and pathways into dimensions of God. Any book that doesn't place the priority on the Word and Jesus at the center has missed the road.

Supernatural experiences should get us closer to Jesus and not just to excite us. Encounters encourage us to fellowship more. Fellowship, like John the beloved said, is the goal! I sense that the end of this year looks a lot like the end of 2017. Dreams are much. Angelic presence is also strong. I have been sensing unusual presence of Angels around me for some weeks.

During the sojourn of Lamurudu in Egypt, what was going on in Egypt at that time was similar to what happened in Genesis 6:1-2 where demonic entities found a way to reproduce themselves in women to establish a race of beings that were not fully humans.
