Topic: Thanksgiving- The Will Of God

Text: 1 Thessalonians 5:18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

I welcome you to the start of a new month and the second half of this year. To start this half, the LORD would have us to be reminded of a key instruction in the scriptures concerning the will of God.

When we are faced with decisions, we often seek to know the will of God and it is very important that we know what this will of God is. In the text for this week, we see obviously what the LORD wants us to do as His will in everything we find ourselves- give thanks!

Thanksgiving is the will of God for us in any situation. When you don't know how to react, give thanks for it is the will of God. Thanksgiving is very certain to be at the center of God's will for us everything. It is often said that you can never praise amiss. It is true.

Yes, there are unpalatable circumstances that you would be unreasonable to be giving thanks for, however, the bible says we should give thanks in all things and not for all things. You may not give thanks for an accident that occurred, but inside the accident, there are still many reasons to give thanks.

I urge you to give thanks to God concerning every circumstance that you find yourself. It is the will of God.

After an official meeting with executives of tacsfonOAU When I resumed for the second year in college, I saw a result of the previous year and it was 39%. I couldn't believe what I saw because it was definitely not commensurate with my efforts. I wept quite bitterly and promised God that He wouldn't see me around any of His assignments again. I just joined a subgroup in my fellowship and I expected that my results will be better because of the several testimonies that I have heard from people. As I was weeping, God directed three friends to visit the spot where I was weeping. It was a miracle that I wouldn't forget. They consoled me and encouraged me to take a step of checking the result with the coordinator of the course. Eventually, my result was changed to 62%. Islam has taken a major stage in the world today, with many western nations trying to find their feet in the face of millions of immigrants from Islamic nations. Several European countries are losing their own culture as the Islamic wave is taking over their lands already.
