The Prophet Stunned Me!

I was relaxing on my bed after a long football match when I heard a knock on my door. I felt very reluctant to stand up and open the door. It was really fun to play the round leather game, but my thighs were crying for help because I had not done such a stressful exercise for a very long time. When the person knocking my door wouldn’t give up, I dragged my body out of bed and opened to see the person who has decided not to allow me to rest.

It was one of my friends that we just finished playing football together. The information he gave me somehow gave some strength to my body because I followed him immediately to confirm what he told me. When we got out, I saw a large crowd in front of a house and everybody stretching their necks to see what was happening. My curiosity was too heavy for me to stand at the back of the crowd. I pushed my way to the very front of the crowd and I saw a group of pastors standing close by and the prophet.

We have heard the news of a prophet who healed the sick and raised the dead. He had visited our town a couple of times and made some outrageous statements that made some of us to doubt him. The pastors saw him as a threat and even warned us not to listen or download his messages and to also avoid his followers. For me, I am so sure that he is a fake person. We have seen several people come out and claim to be some sort of an important person, but they were found out eventually to be fake. Thanks to our diligent pastors who took time to guard and guide us on each one of them. I am sure that this one is no exemption to the pack.

Some days ago, a man died in the house that he lodges whenever he was in our town. Before his death, his sisters had sent for the prophet, but he didn’t show up till the man died. After his death, the prophet did not show for days. This confirmed my perception that he is fake. I was sure that when he eventually comes, he would have an excuse that he was busy with some ministry stuffs. After 3 days that the man died and the prophet did not show up, I knew his plan would be to say that it is too late.

But my friend just told me that he is around and he is in front of the tomb of the man that died. I cannot be told this story; I must see it with my very eyes. ‘This man will be disgraced today’, I thought. The dead man had been buried for 4 days and he is standing in front of the tomb saying that he would bring him back to life. Today is the day that we will all know that this prophet is indeed fraud. Almost everyone in the community was standing to see what will happen.

Suddenly, he began to weep. Someone said behind me that he must have really loved the man that died. I immediately gave him a nasty look and said that if indeed he opened the eyes of the blind, why can he not prevent the man from dying? With my nasty look, I turned back to see what the prophet was going to do. At this point, the stone in front of the tomb was being rolled away and we could perceive some horrible aroma that must be coming from the decaying body.

The prophet looked up as if he was talking to someone upstairs and he shouted: ‘Lazarus, come forth’. For a time that was like years, we wall waited to see if Lazarus was truly going to come out. For a time that seemed so long, nothing happened, but I felt there was something different about the point. Suddenly, we saw a man wrapped up like a corpse walking out of the tomb. It is Lazarus! I went back to my room shivering. God is real!

Oranmiyan (Part 3: Origin of Yoruba)

Our journey will begin by identifying who the Yoruba people are. From the stories and relics of the children of the tribe, it is obvious that the projenitors of the tribe were deeply rooted in sorcery. Especially those who constitute the royal families. Their blood lines is soaked in idolatry, divination and sorcery. They know how to access principalities and powers and learn their worship modes. There are many stories about the origin of the Yoruba race. The Yoruba race has two major stories about their origin. One is supernatural. The other is natural The supernatural or divine one said that the supreme being, God, sent a god- Obatala to come and create the earth, but he got drunk and God had to send another god- Oduduwa. This is what some people hold. This school of thought has several loopholes chief of which is that Oduduwa entered Ile Ife in 11AD, but Ife Arts, according to carbon dating goes way back as 500BC which means that there was life in Ile Ife before Oduduwa came in. Oranmiyan (Part 4: Lamurudu vs Oduduwa)

After being forced out of his land, Lamurudu settled in Egypt for some time where he deepened his knowledge in sorcery. He learned several patterns of rituals which still exists in some parts of Ijebu today. At that time, the Egyptians have developed so well in the worship of their gods who were originally men. The concept of gods begins with a man encountering a demonic prince who is looking for obeisance from men. These princes have the same goal as Lucifer. Once they begin to get attention from a man, the man begins to take up their (dark) nature because it is a law in the spirit realm that whatever you behold, you become. The consecration of these men to the worship of the princes led to the reproduction of the abilities and characteristics of the prince in the man, so the man becomes great among other men. Most of these men takes up the name of the prince that they worship such that when the man dies, you can keep calling his name and the prince responds to your request thereby es

Oranmiyan (Part 5: The gods of Egypt)

During the sojourn of Lamurudu in Egypt, what was going on in Egypt at that time was similar to what happened in Genesis 6:1-2 where demonic entities found a way to reproduce themselves in women to establish a race of beings that were not fully humans. These creatures were very big that they were called Giants. They had 6 fingers and toes and unusual strength. Bible refer to them as Nephilims which means mysterious beings who are large and strong. Some other meanings called them fallen ones. They had supernatural abilities and they preyed on full humans. The situation was like what was portrayed in Harry Potter that had pure bloods, half bloods, mud bloods and muggles. The pure bloods were the witches whose both parents are also witches, half blood is a witch with one parent as witch, mud blood has both parents as normal people and muggles are non witches. At that time in Genesis 6, the Nephilims had created another race on earth that paralleled the pure humans. This what why God sent
