I defecated on my Trousers

It was a great occasion for the houseflies as the ugly aroma from my buttocks gave them a pleasant invitation. The sad lullaby they hummed made me more furious, but they certainly were enjoying the sudden emergence of feces from my anus into my trousers. It was along hard battle trying to keep the feces in, till I got home, but for the benefit of perhaps the flies, I lost and the disgrace came in a grand package. Well, to defend myself, I have been suffering from diarrhea for a while now and each time I hear the alarm in my anus, I go straight to the toilet. Each victory was good news and an encouragement, but this time, I lost.
Sad pathetic story that is a picture of the walk of some of us struggling with an addiction which is a war with several battles. Sometimes we win, other times; we defecate on our body and become messy. Addiction is just like a rope around the neck of a goat tied to a tree. The goat can experience a pseudo-freedom as long as it stays within the circumference that the rope permits. But the moment it tries to go beyond that limit, it gets drawn back. No matter how much the goat tries to gain freedom, its efforts will always end in futility. Somehow, many of us have struggled to gain freedom, but we couldn’t which made some fall into the error of “no one is perfect, God will help all of us”. Until the goat allows its owner to remove the rope, it cannot gain freedom. We must allow god to deliver us from every form of addiction by surrendering to Him in sincerity and allow His strength to flow out in our weakness (es). As such, our weakness is the strongest point of our life if we surrender it to God so that His strength can flow.
Many of the people that saw feces on me with flies celebrating the birth of a new niche covered their nose and shook their  head, while some ran away to spread the “good news”. Well, I don’t blame them or how would you explain how a corps member defecated on his clothes? I had no choice than to hide myself from them though I still had feces on me.
When we check the scriptures, we will discover that stones were used to either build houses or kill prophets. As lively stones, we belong to either of these groups. While some are engaged in the spiritual process of building lives, others are partnering with the devil to bring down lives. One of the fascinating stories of the bible was that of the woman that was caught in the act of adultery and a call came for stones to kill her. Here was a woman at the mercy of Jesus or judgment of stones. The reply of Jesus prevented the stones from flying. God committed a ministry of reconciliation into our hands and not that of a police force. We must all know that we are on a battleground and if your fellow soldier is wounded, your duty is to help him up and treat him, but what we do is to kill wounded soldiers around us. Be committed to reconciliation, re-establishment, re-affirming just like the Lord commanded us to do.
Next time you see someone with feces on his/her body, get water to clean it up. Do not spread the news, it is not good news; my experience is a scar…

Oranmiyan (Part 5: The gods of Egypt)

During the sojourn of Lamurudu in Egypt, what was going on in Egypt at that time was similar to what happened in Genesis 6:1-2 where demonic entities found a way to reproduce themselves in women to establish a race of beings that were not fully humans. These creatures were very big that they were called Giants. They had 6 fingers and toes and unusual strength. Bible refer to them as Nephilims which means mysterious beings who are large and strong. Some other meanings called them fallen ones. They had supernatural abilities and they preyed on full humans. The situation was like what was portrayed in Harry Potter that had pure bloods, half bloods, mud bloods and muggles. The pure bloods were the witches whose both parents are also witches, half blood is a witch with one parent as witch, mud blood has both parents as normal people and muggles are non witches.
