End-Time Prophecy About Israel

A friend sent a video to me during the week about the way Christians are being treated badly in Israel. The video was supported by facts and figures and sincerely, I was not surprised at the situation. I was about replying my friend when I thought that many more would have the same thought, so I decided to make my reply to be a blog.

First, let me give you the context of my writing by addressing some arguments about the present day Jews.

I have seen many arguments that the present-day Israel is not the biblical Israel. To put that to bed, we should know that all the relics of the bible days are still in that same location. That's very easy to solve. Some argue that the people are not the outright descendants of the biblical Jews. This is also wrong as many evidence prove that the people who claim to be Jews from Europe, America and other parts of the world are genetically related and significantly different from those of their host communities.

Also, Jews jealousy guard family history. Many Jewish families still have Rabbis in charge of their lineage. The fact that they were scattered and still maintained their identity is a mystery that fulfilled the prophecy of Ezekiel 36:25, Jeremiah 31:10 and Amos 9:14-15 which says that Israel will be gathered again after they are scattered.

The final argument I will touch is that the current Jews do not believe in Jesus Christ, so they cannot be God's people. This will take me go to my response to the video.

The current day Jews do not believe that Jesus Christ is their messiah. They believe that He is not the messiah because He didn’t usher the Jews into global relevance, bring universal peace and build a temple. This has been from the days of the early church. The Jews persecuted the church and insisted that the church does not represent any part of them.

Paul lamented their state in Romans chapter 9. He urged the gentile world to be wary of their state as being engrafted into the vine where the root are the Jews. Today, the Jews are still in that same state where they consider Christians as outsiders of the covenant of Abraham. This is because they do not have understanding of the 70 weeks of Daniel. I have explained this is my post about the Iran War.

I believe, that after Donald Trump, Israel will be severely attacked. Many nations cannot openly show their support for Iran today because of the USA factor, but after Trump, many nations will eventually show their rage. This will be so heavy on Israel that they will have no choice but to cry out for a saviour. The emergence of the Antichrist will become faster and eventually, maranatha.

The Jews will still come to Christ. This will be as a result of intense persecution. The Gog and Magog war of Ezekiel 38 and 39 points to a time of war with a certain king of the North, popularly believed to be Russia. Although, the prophecy says that Israel will win the war, Israel will still come under intense warfare which I believe will set in after Donald Trump.

While the state of Israel right now shows opposition to the gospel, they will still come around to cry out for the gospel according to the following bible passages:

Zechariah 12:10- Says that after the Jews have pierced and killed the deliverer, they will eventually look for Him and mourn for their actions.

Matthew 23:29- Jesus said that Jerusalem will not see Him again until they say blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD.

These bible verses mean that the Jews will eventually come to Christ, but it will be after a time of destruction and persecution. Jerusalem will see Christ again when they consider Him to be blessed. So, watch out for the maturing of the fig tree for when it is matured; for it will burn before it is saved.

Can You See Islam Imploding?

Islam has taken a major stage in the world today, with many western nations trying to find their feet in the face of millions of immigrants from Islamic nations. Several European countries are losing their own culture as the Islamic wave is taking over their lands already. While in Africa, nations are embroiled in Islam related conflicts that is claiming lives in millions. In many places, Muslims have become citizens and are beginning to contest for political offices. The current mayor of London is a Muslim. Same with the current mayor of New York. Scotland already had a Muslim PM. You see, there is no issue with a Muslim becoming a political leader other than the fact that true Muslims are territorial; their religion teaches them that the religion of the ruler is the religion of the land. Is this Islamophobia? Wait. What is Islamophobia? Why should anyone be Islamophobic? Is it because terrorists are Muslims? Or because Muslims threaten to slaughter anyone who slanders their religion?...

Prophetic Perspective: Israel vs Iran

The middle east situation between Israel and Palestine is a very complex one that can be viewed from many sides. Whichever perspective you choose, there will always be an unresolved issue. It is exactly a year that Hamas, a terrorist group in Palestine, dealt the biggest blow ever to the Israeli state, killing over 1000 Jews and abducting about 251. It sent a shock wave round the world. The October 7, 2023 attacks kick-started a war that has escalated to involve Lebanon, Syria, Qatar and Iran. Israel has gone all out attacking Palestine in a wave that many world leaders have been cautioning them to consider the civilians. ORIGIN OF THE WAR The origin of the war in the middle east can be traced back to the 1920s when Britain, in conjunction with the Arabs defeated the Ottoman military in Jerusalem and took the city as a colony of the British royalty.  It wasn't long before the British decided to release the land to the Arabs that fought alongside them. But, there was another set of ...

Seven Years In Christ- Friends

After an official meeting with executives of tacsfonOAU When I resumed for the second year in college, I saw a result of the previous year and it was 39%. I couldn't believe what I saw because it was definitely not commensurate with my efforts. I wept quite bitterly and promised God that He wouldn't see me around any of His assignments again. I just joined a subgroup in my fellowship and I expected that my results will be better because of the several testimonies that I have heard from people. As I was weeping, God directed three friends to visit the spot where I was weeping. It was a miracle that I wouldn't forget. They consoled me and encouraged me to take a step of checking the result with the coordinator of the course. Eventually, my result was changed to 62%. This is one of the many times that the Lord has used brothers and sisters around me to stabilize me and keep me in line with His purpose. The role they have played in my last 7 years cannot be written in ...
