Word For The 32nd Week Of 2018

Topic: The Army Of Fire

Text: Joel 2:3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land [is] as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.

There are 3 armies prophesied in the bible as the army of the LORD and they are the Gideon's army of 300, the Joel's army and the Ezekiel's army of dry bones that came alive.

The Gideon's army are few and they are a pioneering generation while the Joel's army are the ones that will break open the 7 spheres of influence and the Ezekiel's army will be composed of men that will be saved as a result of the work done by the Joel's army.

The times that we are presently belongs to the Joel army and they are already being birthed. The work of this army will be to take the mantle of the Gideon's army and break open the marketplace unto the kingdom.

One of the characteristics of this army is that they are an army of fire. Our text says that a fire devours before them and a flame burns behind them. They shows how fiery this army will be in their dealings.

This also typifies how soldiers of this army will be identified. Believers who are passing through circumstances that looks as if they are passing through fire are the ones that are being called into this army. This fire will not burn them (Isa 43:2), but will refine them (Mal 3:2). This fire will also been be seen in the intercession of fire that will characterize their life.

I urge you to be faithful in what God has called you to be and do. Do not faint and run out of the fire. You will be blessed for the well doing if you faint not, so do not be weary. He that will come shall come; cast not away your confidence which has great recompense of reward!

Have a great week

Can You See Islam Imploding?

Islam has taken a major stage in the world today, with many western nations trying to find their feet in the face of millions of immigrants from Islamic nations. Several European countries are losing their own culture as the Islamic wave is taking over their lands already. While in Africa, nations are embroiled in Islam related conflicts that is claiming lives in millions. In many places, Muslims have become citizens and are beginning to contest for political offices. The current mayor of London is a Muslim. Same with the current mayor of New York. Scotland already had a Muslim PM. You see, there is no issue with a Muslim becoming a political leader other than the fact that true Muslims are territorial; their religion teaches them that the religion of the ruler is the religion of the land. Is this Islamophobia? Wait. What is Islamophobia? Why should anyone be Islamophobic? Is it because terrorists are Muslims? Or because Muslims threaten to slaughter anyone who slanders their religion?...

Prophetic Perspective: Israel vs Iran

The middle east situation between Israel and Palestine is a very complex one that can be viewed from many sides. Whichever perspective you choose, there will always be an unresolved issue. It is exactly a year that Hamas, a terrorist group in Palestine, dealt the biggest blow ever to the Israeli state, killing over 1000 Jews and abducting about 251. It sent a shock wave round the world. The October 7, 2023 attacks kick-started a war that has escalated to involve Lebanon, Syria, Qatar and Iran. Israel has gone all out attacking Palestine in a wave that many world leaders have been cautioning them to consider the civilians. ORIGIN OF THE WAR The origin of the war in the middle east can be traced back to the 1920s when Britain, in conjunction with the Arabs defeated the Ottoman military in Jerusalem and took the city as a colony of the British royalty.  It wasn't long before the British decided to release the land to the Arabs that fought alongside them. But, there was another set of ...

Seven Years In Christ- Friends

After an official meeting with executives of tacsfonOAU When I resumed for the second year in college, I saw a result of the previous year and it was 39%. I couldn't believe what I saw because it was definitely not commensurate with my efforts. I wept quite bitterly and promised God that He wouldn't see me around any of His assignments again. I just joined a subgroup in my fellowship and I expected that my results will be better because of the several testimonies that I have heard from people. As I was weeping, God directed three friends to visit the spot where I was weeping. It was a miracle that I wouldn't forget. They consoled me and encouraged me to take a step of checking the result with the coordinator of the course. Eventually, my result was changed to 62%. This is one of the many times that the Lord has used brothers and sisters around me to stabilize me and keep me in line with His purpose. The role they have played in my last 7 years cannot be written in ...
